Holy shit woman, you are incredibly sexy. I LOVE the hair.

I wish I could have red hair all the time, but it takes too much upkeep, unfortunately

I gave myself the gift of red hair for my 30th birthday. (I finally got my Ariel hair!!!!) My hair has been just about every other colour under the sun, but anytime I tried to go red, it was a disaster. So I went to a salon and they did a GREAT job. I picked a shade that I knew I could buy OTC for root touch ups. It's been almost 6 months and I am still loving it. It's not any more of a pain in the ass than any other colour is. Personally, I found blue hair MUCH harder to maintain. I do my roots about once a month and sometimes do a bit of an all-over touch up to keep it from getting dull. I know I won't keep up with the red forever, but I can't imagine giving it up for at least a few years.

Ohhh, I am jealous. I couldn't imagine what the process would be like if I wanted to go from green to red....I've got platinum blonde under my green, and the green will eventually wash out (it would fade quite quickly if I started washing my hair more than once a week). Maybe I will think about going red next then....you've inspired me now that I know it isn't the brutal upkeep that I thought it was. I am still terrified of box dyes, though.

Eh to be honest, I feel most like myself with dark hair, if that makes sense.
Other colors are not for me.

    It does make sense.

How often do you trim your hair? I'd love to be able to grow mine as long as yours.

How do you get it to grow so long? Mine can't seem to grow any longer than it is now....it is driving me nuts...I'd like it to be long enough to cover the front of my breasts....

Well, mine is shorter than yours atm, I think? But anyways, I never had any problems with it...it was always thick, very healthy and it grows fast.
I do take good care of it....avocado oil, olive oil....all that.
I have no special advice, sorry.
I once had a bob, and my ex-roommate couldn't believe how fast it grew back lol.
I guess it's a genetic thing. Most women in my family (mother's side) have good, strong, lion hair xD

    I'm getting there.
    Love black.

Just once a week. I oil it, let it be for a while, and then wash.

    God no.
    3 times a week.

But now that I'm not working or going to school it's more like once or twice a week. I can get away with it, so I figure I'll give my hair more rest xD

    And you?

What dry shampoo do you use? I havent found one that really works.

I have fairly oily hair. I would like to only wash it once a week but it starts looking really greasy after a few days. I wash it 3 times a week normally but even then I have to wear it up the day after a wash to disguise the oiliness.
