His son died after being shot 12 times by police officers and his brother was murdered by drug dealers. He has risen to run one of the largest police departments in the nation in his efforts to stop police brutality.

I don't even see how riot gear would of prevented high powered bullets .. The fact that none of the officers shot were in any type of formation or crowd control..

Whatever happened to the "due process"? That black kid that keeps spitting in that video, he has a point. The cops, they have guns. And they come onto you en-masse if you do anything wrong. And you might be unarmed. Or maybe it your 7 year old daughter, instead.

I'm not saying that it's ok to kill cops, and I'm not saying the cops deserved it. But I have been on the receiving end too many times of the cops having their temper flares, their hissy fits, acting like they really are gods. I've never been in a situation like this with a police officer.

 

Saw the raw video of the baton rouge guy, he did have a freakin gun in his hand. That's not broadcast across mainstream media out of respect for the dead and its icky, but not doing so leads to misinformation

Also saw the raw video of Micah Johnson, he did for some reason reach down the front of his pants as the cop was pointing a gun at him at close range.

Maybe that's what they should teach kids in school. If a cop is pointing a gun at you. Keep ya freakin hands up! If I was the cop, I wouldn't have taken the chance he was just scratching himself or whatever
