In my day it was a gallon of milk. Bet some guy money he can't drink a whole gallon in 30 minutes. They think easy money but you are going to throw up. I feel for it.

 

So i kinda killed my 2kg of jerky by adding too much honey that sweetened it and dulled the taste. But the texture is still great and the bits of cayenne pepper I put it do come through just need a lot more so not all a waste. Just need to marinate for 24hrs next time and not rush it.

I have a new friend at work. He's only early twenties and he's really shy. I don't even know how he got the job being so shy, maybe that's what he's trying to fix? Anyway he has the same name as my daddy does, and it's weird because I've never known any Wiktor's before. I call him "lil Vic". so turns out this is his first job that the parents made him get out of the house and do something, so this is that something he's wound up in a pretty decent fun first job, really.

Only problem is... he tends to be my shadow. I don't mind it, but sometimes, I just need my own space ya know. To bang my head and talk to myself etc. if he's got nothing on he always seems to be near me. I might have to make up some more work for him I think. Hehe.

 

Being shy though, Irmi, he might be really good with the horses. When I just read that, I thought a person that is shy with people might be really good with the horses.

He apparently sees that you don't judge his shyness...maybe you are his "experimental person" to not be shy around.

 

Well I think he fancies me. and yes I think he's found something in me, not that I don't judge him but because I'm just almost completely nuts maybe? I'm into weird stuff and most the shy geeky people follow suit in that department.

He's a good help at the moment because he's so new he's just doing things and the actual job. Once you get comfortable here you do less work and more drinking with guests.

 

Thinking about buying myself a kincrome socket set. Been after one for years now. Just need maybe 10 pieces, nothing fancy. All seem to come in 50 piece sets with little bits. I don't need little bits, just the sockets.
