Most depressing songs?

    I think phish, "when the circus comes to town" is pretty depressing, but also an amazing song, which I love.
    Ben Folds 5, "Brick", is also very sad.
    Shabutie, "Cassiopeia" listin to this song, its not really the type of music I like but this song is just sad, but a beautiful song

    What are some other ones?

    Maybe because it was used in the suicide scene in Royal Tenenbaums or the fact the artist did in fact kill himself :( but it really gets to me.

    the whole "The Spill Canvas" album - sunsets and car crashes.

    The Tide is one of the best songs off the album

    Soma, by The Smashing Pumpkins. It's an absolutely beautiful song, though it's pretty depressing.

    yea i know and last kiss is not a pearl jam song but phish covers "when the circus comes to town" better then the other dudes in my opion so yea
