    We have Netflix and hulu so we mostly binge watch the same show until it is over...so it isn't an issue of who holds the remote and flips through the channels, it's more like whoever finds the xbox controller first puts it on the same show we've been watching for weeks

    You are so lucky you have the attention span to binge watch shows. I usually can't make it past one episode before I get antsy.

    If it is a sporting event (especially college football), I control the remote. For everything else, she has possession of the remote. That's why I watch most of my TV alone in another room.

    We don't have cable or anything so....

    Our fire stick is in inaccessible storage so....

    Hypothetically speaking, I'd imagine he'd hold the remote if it were relevant.
