playing dragon age inquisition, i just made a kick ass helmet for one of my characters. i am comparing it to her current helmet just to make sure it is a better item. then i drop my controller, didnt really drop it, i just fumbled it for a second. when i regain control of my controller...the helmet i just made is gone. like disappeared. sure you can destroy items but you have to confirm it. i fumbled the controller for literally 1 second max...was that enough time to destroy the thing and then confirm i want it destroyed? i call bullshit, i have to wait minutes for everything else in that god damn game but the one thing that would have helped if it took its time.....instantaneous.
Exploding Kittens?!?! Wth is that?? Been playing GTA5 and Don't Starve a lot lately. I am absolutely loving Don't Starve. Finally a 'true' survival game. It's pretty damn difficult and a little confusing because there's no tutorial or anything. They just set you loose in a strange dark land and the rest is up to you lol, but that's part of what makes the game fun and mysterious. Plus, when your character starts losing it's mind, it starts to hallucinate. GTA5 has been a pain in the ass. I pop it in, expecting to play, and all I really do is wait. Takes like 15 minutes for the game to even get going (that's if it doesn't crash before you get to online mode), then waiting in a lobby for a setup or heist mission to start takes another 10-15. It's fun when it works. As long as some asshole isn't shooting you over and over again for no apparent reason. Getting ready to upgrade my buddy's PS3 hard drive.
Lol its a silly card game. The deck has a number of exploding kittens and if you draw one you die. The other cards have simple moves on them that you can use to put off drawing or make other people draw extras. Last person standing wins.
I must have been lucky. Especially the old saves deletion when starting a new game sounds weird. Did that happen in any elder scrolls game? I recall for sure it didn't in Skyrim, Morrowind or Fallout 4. It would drive me crazy. I'd say you were lucky you were 'only' 20 hours in!
no the save problem was on a bioware game...the save feature is one of the few things bethesda did without lots of glitches. i got the fallout 1-2 box set, the game is unplayable without being able to download patches that you have to be a hacker to understand. i have lost 5 and 10 hour patches on fallout 3 and new vegas. because i had to go back to earlier save points. and i ran into a glitch in skyrim that made everyone attack me for no reason, it kept happening every time i went back to an earlier save. i since started the game all over and it hasnt happened again but i am not as far as i was...kind of lost interest in it. by the time i get back to it, i may have to start all over just because i forgot everything i was doing.
It's sort of interesting the way I do this. I purchase, and then subsequently return a given video game. So that is to say, I am not currently in possession of the video game that I'm "playing right now" because I took it back to game stop. So I'm on hiatus or sabbatical or something, however the game is Mirror's Edge Catalyst. It's a little dry I think but I still will play it again I'm sure. Another that I'm not finished with yet is Far Cry Primal, which I'm pretty sure I mentioned earlier in this thread. Far Cry Primal has it's own set of issues. I find it similar to the previous title in the Far Cry series beyond the point of just being reminiscent. I don't know if that makes sense. The map system for the game is a little too similar to the previous title's map system, such that when I first started playing it was one of the first things I noticed. It was an immediate turn off. The other parts of the game are pretty cool. If you haven't played Far Cry 4 you might like this game, or you might like it despite having played Far Cry 4, and I'm just nit-picking and not knowing what I'm talking about. Anyway... Those are the two games that I have an ongoing session with.
Deus Ex Mankind Divided I like that the games gives you several options to complete the missions. You could find the door code, maybe you find an open window, or you could just kill the guy with a key.
I'm 6-2 in my Madden season. Started Trevor Siemian but we are havin offensive woes and struggles moving the ball so after a dismal outing against the Texans in the first half I benched Siemian and put Paxton Lynch on the field. He's 1-0 in his first start and off to the Black Hole to smash the Raiders next game. #beat the raiders.
I got the shitty walking dead game. Haven't started yet because it's for ps3 and I don't have it hooked up.
i don't even know yet, but i just down loaded a bunch of stuff from someplace called ifcomp.org of course i've got trs 2012 from m3v or whoever owns it now, and bahn 3.88ra. but mostly i just make things in blender 2.77 if i ever find a game that lets me do the things i want to do in its world without making me have to do things i don't want in order to, i will love it to pieces. oh i've also got something called rojin v1.0, which i wish i knew how to reverse engineer so i could add more to it. i wish i wasn't too lazy to learn unity or unreal or even more of blender's internal game engine. last time i tried i learned enough of unity to import assets i make for it in blender and how to prepare my meshes and textures from blender to import into it, but its been too long since i last remembered even to think about it, that i'm pretty sure i'm more likely to have forgotten even that. making animations is kind of a game, but not as simple or easy as playing one.
Oh I blew a 24-7 leaders in the 3rd Q to fall 41-37 against the 2-10 Titans when I was 10-2. I held them to -1 rushing yards on 19 carries until the second last play they ran for 75! Now I've got the patriots which should settle first seed in AFC.
Just finished The Bunker. I don't know if you can call it a "game" it was more a movie where you click a few times. But It was a fun story for a few hours. I watched an interview with the creators and their background is in film not games so it makes sense.
And the Broncos own the AFC with a convincing 41-27 victory over the Patriots. 10-10 at half time until I decided I was going to air it out and by the time the Pats needed to come back, my boys were right there for 4 4th QTR turnovers.
I lost the Super Bowl. =[ to the stupid Seahawks. All that work for nothing! 32-27 and I had a drop in the end zone with 8seconds left. =[ Now I gotta set it all up again for next season.
Hey guys, I'm battling in a galaxy far far away a lot lately as well! Got the season pass and no regrets. I mean you don't wanna miss Jabba the Hutts palace right!
