What's Happening?

So you're saying he's just a little bit thick headed....

 

There was no scene with this.

One day, I decided that it had gone on long enough and I made a decision. I quietly unfriended his whole family and him.

I don't know how long it took for him to realize it, and I'm sure he can't believe it, because there was no scene. I'm sure the fact that there was no emotional scene is frightening to him. I was never that way before.

 

i got this one friend on fb who i am not really close to, he was on my hockey team a couple of years and is good friends with my longtime hockey friends. if it wasnt for them i would have forgotten about him long ago,
he always posts all these funny and interesting things on fb. and now i dont ever repost them because the only friends i have there are the ones i know from hockey....whooooo are the ones that are friends with him anyway.


well there is my sisters and an old mafia wars friend and a words with friends friend. but i cant think of anyone else besides that.
damn if it wasnt for my sister finally posting shit on there i might have stopped going on the site all together.

 

for a second i was like,,,,wait thats what she did to me. but then i realized you had the decency to ignore him.

 

I was hoping 3 months of no words between us meant that he knew what was up and had accepted it.

I don't like this.

I do not want to be every couple of months friends with you.

I like it how it has been = Quiet - Quiet in my head, quiet in my heart, just quiet. I like it.

 

Friday didn't seem like Friday...weird, but here we are.

 

Seemed like Friday to me... Drive over to see Dad, have lunch/go shopping/deal with his memory loss/etc.etc.

If it wasn't Friday I'll have to do it all over again tomorrow.

I sure hope so... Short of looking at one of my weather stations or the computer and paying attention to the date the only way I know the day is because of my medicine box.... If it's not Friday, I also took Friday's pills.



When would I have taken Thursday's pills?

My medicine box is the only way I know what day it is.

I still have Friday bedtime medicine left.

Many days the only way I'm for sure and certain what day it is, is because we get the paper and it has the date on it.

If I ever were to forget or misplace a Friday, I'd remember soon enough when the son drops off his load(s) of laundry.

Since I LOVE this fast-speed internet, I would be damn heart-broken if he were to ever get a washer or a gf that had a problem with our barter arrangement.

 

Just for chits and giggles...I want to say I am very glad I am able to utilize the ignore function offered by hf.

Every now and then I forget how irritated I let myself get at absolute, undiluted jackasses; but, then reality comes and reminds me.

I've been talking to the girl who grew up next door. In age, she falls between my son and my daughter.

Last week, she got the news that the baby she's carrying likely will be born with Down Syndrome.

Yesterday, he father was discovered dead. He shot himself sometime in the week prior.

 

omg... was it the baby's father or the girl's father?

Either way, that is a sad sad situation. I don't know how I would feel in the situation the girl is in; but, I have known a few people that had a child with Down's Syndrome. Every single parent and family member dotes on and loves these children immensely.

 

So far a fairly uneventful day. I've been replaying my favorite video game (Dishonored) and considering having an avocado for lunch soon. Later thinking a cool bath and listening to some Otis Redding

 

i get the time and date from the lower right corner of my computer screen. i don't really have a reason to care what day it is, except to know if its a week day when all the buses are running and how close to when my rent's due.
much as i need to get out more, i also need to avoid the summer heat. wish it was safer, friendlier and more busses in the middle of the night. and just as many at all hours on sundays and holidays.

avacado with tuna or chicken salad in the hole where the seed was are wonderful. just got up and finished the chicken salad i had in the fridge, and the two remaining watermellon spears.
checked my stats on f.a. before coming here. thinking about uploading my next finished piece i have ready to go, even though its still less then a week since my last one.

 

Finished mowing the treed lawn at the entry... Gate is open, waiting on a package.

 

My mom's church fall supper is tonight and I am so looking forward to it. Turkey dinner with all the fixings and home made pies for enders. Life is good!

 

The young woman's father committed suicide.

The babies father is not in her life and won't be.

She's looking forward to loving her baby and just praying that it is otherwise healthy. She, herself, has Chronic Kidney Disease in the one kidney she has. They've told her that the kidney disease will worsen, she will have eclampsia, and that the baby won't make it to term.

She got pregnant on purpose. She's been trying ever since she lost custody of her 10 year old son a few years ago. His father's family got him because she couldn't take care of him.

I try not to even keep up with this girl but she contacted me to let me know about her father's death.
