A good bit. I usually drink a glass as soon as I wake up then another before I leave for work. Then throughout the day I fill up a water bottle twice - I think it probably holds about 24 ounces, give or take a few. Then about 2 - 3 glasses in the evening.
A few cups a day from the jug at work, then also maybe about every 3 weeks or so I'll get a bottled water.
When I'm on top of my game, I drink about a gallon a day. I should drink that much every day. Some days I fall short.
Congratulations! Starting out with that full glass of water is what the oldest people I know have done - my mother's mother's people. You've probably read where I've discussed my mother...she'll be 97 in December. She begins the day with a glass of water, and drinks throughout the day but probably not as much as you. Well, not now anyway. Until this past month, she had never been hospitalized in her life aside from 2 uneventful child births. Especially for her age, she is very good health (deafness doesn't count lol) and all of the relatives that lived Very Long and healthy lives began their days with that glass of water. You're on to something. __________________________________ I need to drink more water.
The Holistic Chiropractor I use to go to told me that people who start the day with coffee are wrong. She said that your body needs it to be water upon waking and then have the coffee later if you want to.
That makes sense because I always feel bad in the tummy if I have something strong other than straight tea or water, like my body is saying "yes! Purifying hydration" and in reality I'm downing an energy drink and all its extracting is battery acid.
64 Oz bottle, at least. That's my rubbermaid water bottle I got for $2.09 at target, plus whatever else I end up drinking. I'm not counting coffee or the raspberry lemonade flavored stuff I have in the fridge either. So, about 1 2-liter bottle.
