They were one of the greatest bands to come out of the sixies. why dont many people recognize that? Arthur Lee is such a genious. eveyone should own the album "forever changes" one of the greatest albums ever Ever! who else is into love?
They were great. Forever Changes is a fab album. 'they're locking them up today and throwing away the key I wonder who it'll be tommorrow you or me?'
Aye, Forever Changes is definitely one of the best '60s albums, and Love is definitely one of the best '60s bands. Very good stuff.
I've only heard Forever Changes, it's one of my favorite albums... Can anyone *coughDerekcough* give me more info on their first two albums and anything that came after that..
wow that reminds me, I havent listened to that album in quite some time. I might have to give it another spin.
Well, they put out Love (1966) and Da Capo (1967) before Forever Changes (1967), and with a slightly different line up Four Sail (1969), Out Here (1969), and False Start (1970). Love, Da Capo, and Four Sail are good, but they're nothing compared to Forever Changes. Out Here and False Start are usually considered pretty terrible. So, the first four albums are as far as you'd want to go with Love.
