If you switch the red meat a little, that would not look to out of place in Colombia...it is all red meat at BBQs...oh and potatoes and plantines...
more like biosphere of planet earth, and 'american values' destroying it. i can understand why some people want what republicans say they want just fine; live and let live, kill and let die, leave everyone alone to do their own thing, as long as its their thing and not really their own, but haven't they made it obvious enough by now, that what they really want isn't what they say they want at all, and what they really want is for everyone to keep making them rich, without allowing THEY're country to do anything to earn its keep. all things do pass, no nation is immortal, and the u.s. will ultimately prove no exception, but for the moment, it still appears reasonably resilliant. it has never been as advertised, but from rosivelt to raygun, it was mostly closer to it then its been since. i wouldn't want to go back to the 50s. i don't think anyone born since 1980 has any real idea how badly screwed up they were and why. the 70s were mostly ok, but that was precisely because, as with the 60s, people were looking forward and building a future, instead of looking backwards and whinging about the past.
