that's what got my by in high-school in the 60s. living in or near very small towns where nature was less then a mile walk to get to.
before we had computers, and you didn't have to be rich to live out there like that.
or at least you didn't if you or someone you lived with worked in infrastructure, like my dad working for the railroad,
and the parents of most of the kids i went to school with worked for the power company or the highway department or their family had a mom and pop storefront in town.

Don't you think excerising can be a vice? You excerise a lot. I mean it is more socially acceptable, but many people do use excerise as a means to deal with things.

Alcohol. Cake. And casual, anonymous random sex.

On a good night I can check 'em all off at once.

I forgot to disclose mine. Sorry. My vice is cutting. It's a shame that a lot of vices can be glorified, but cutting is not one of them. You would think none of the vices will be glorified. Or all the vices will be accepted as coping mechanisms, even if they are negative and unproductive. But, apparently it's okay to drink to the point where you do or say something stupid because that's social drinking. But, it's totally wrong to cut. I'm just using social drinking as an example. I'm not hating on it. I know a lot of people who drink as a coping mechanism. I don't encourage any vices. But, I do accept them. They're just ways people deal. Yes, it's negative and unproductive. But, honestly I think positive and productive coping mechanisms can be vices as well. Also, it's not like the vice is making the person nonfunctional. I don't know. Whatever. I just wanted to know what you all do to deal. It's interesting.

I used to cut when I was in middle and high school. Typically did it out of a desire for recognition and intense depression. Once turned the entire top of my right arm into mince meat in a fit of self rage.
People very rarely inquire about all the scars but when they do I tell them of my experiences. I can relate to the desire sister perhaps not the same emotions but the finality of the choices

It's hard to find people who use this vice, or used it. Usually people use drugs, drinking, eating a certain way, like overeating or underearing. However, I do think there are a lot of people who cut. It's one of the least chooen vices, but still there are a lot of people. You never know. That person wearing the long sleeves. Maybe. Cutting is one of the vices that are not socially acceptable, so no wonder a lot of people stay quiet about it.

and some 'c' clamps and model building/wood working clamps.

I take gods name in vain. Yahweh is a stupid name.

    I intentionally dishonor my father.

I have a lot of other gods. (fast cars and loose women)

    I covet my neighbors wife.

I don't even know which day the Sabbath is. Muslims say Friday, Jews say Saturday. Christians say Sunday.

    All sorts of Adultery.

I've drawn a picture of a fish before, so I think that counts as idolatry.

I do not however, kill, steal, or give false witness when those options aren't convenient.

Sometimes I like to wear women's underwear.

That's strictly a comfort thing though.
