probably the most important of any one material thing in my life beyond the bare bones of physical survival.
well not the internet itself alone exactly, but being able to make art on my computer and then use the net to upload and share the colors, shapes and ideas.

 

That, and knowing that in a million years it'll all be gone along with everything else

Well if we are talking about ridiculous increments of time you should have went with 5 billion years from now when everything will be gone.

 

The air still here becuaes of gravity is it nut

you might be breathing an oxygen atom that has travelled far in the distant past

For me it's the bees knees. Not exactly the internet, but from that precise moment in time we could download YouTube videos on a mobile device at an acceptable speed..... I have never been bored since, whether its waiting for a dentist, in a queue at a bank, commercial breaks while watching my favourite tv show, whatever

Especially that aspect, keeping the mind busy, I think the internet is a lot more important than most want to admit

 

I'd be pretty bummed if the internet didn't exist. Can't bring myself to hate on it. It's changed our lives, almost exclusively for the better. I'm sure there are downsides, but for anyone who uses technology "responsibly", the internet is an indispensable tool.

 

Many face the opposite dilemma.

 

The internet offers a massive library at your fingertips. Couple that with internet debate forums, and you've got the ingredients for a volatile environment.

 

Hard to imagine life without it

 

ITS ALMOST as important as my ass burgers! 2nd on my important list

 

I won't live anywhere that doesn't have it.

 

It all must have its place. Great in moderation, just like everything else.
