As additional votes have been counted in the presidential election, especially on the West Coast, Hillary Clinton's national popular-vote lead over Donald Trump now exceeds 2 million votes, according to an ongoing count by the Cook Political Report's David Wasserman.

Hillary Clinton's vote total is 64,223,986 (48.1% of the vote), while Trump's is 62,206,395 (46.6%) - a difference of 2,017,591 votes (1.5%).

I like some uncertainties better then others.

But they could be made less severe, or they could be made a lot worse.

It would be lovely to think it isn't going ot happen,
there's even a minute chance, not so much that it won't,
but that it won't affect very much of anything.

But the idea of just ignoring it,
and betting that it won't affect anything,
or that we'll all be dead already,
well the guy's already demonstrated he's kind of not all there,
so I guess that's no surprise.

And we know how to reduce its likely effects,
and we know why there are people who don't want to.

America isn't part of some other planet,
where it can expect to be not affected by what it does to the earth.

Little green pieces of paper aren't going to save the species.
Kicking old people who played by the rules in the teeth,
or everyone who isn't willing to be a slave or already a master,
out into the street, isn't either.

And blaming it all on who ever is least able to prove it wasn't them,
well history should prove how well that never worked for very long.

What form will it take this time?
