My daughter's wedding is going to be silver and shades of deep purple.

She is leaning toward a silver dress. She wants a blinged out bodice. She may even wear one in one of the deep purple tones. She likes the color "Eggplant".

My dress is the brighter of the spectrum and will go well with any of the other colors she's picked.

I'd say my dress is this middle color. I'm calling it "Bright Aubergine".

how have i never seen this thread? i mean, with nearly 3000 posts in the last 6 months, it should have been near the top of the new posts list pretty much constantly. i'm a little weirded out right now.

 

It's new to this neighborhood.

 

And all this time I was thinking why isn't underwear posting in this thread.

I'm happy to not be cooking for Thanksgiving. I'm going to my daughter's future in-laws for dinner.

I'll stop and pick up some nice cut flowers in Autumn colors and take them.

 

pizza party at work. probably be 6 people here tomorrow with a ton of catering food.

 

I'd go in for you; eating that food; making that money.

 

India shared some his lunch with me. its called chatt. but there are different kinds, I guess. this was a fried potato flour puffy things with yogurt, and cranberries and ginger. not going to tell my girlfriend because she'll be jealous and ask me to take her to a Indian restaurant for 4hours..

Hubby used to work with some Mexicans that brought food in. He'd bring home real tamales wrapped in real corn husks. They were so freaking good...

 

Damn getting older.

I've got two floaters in my eye today that are making me nuts. One is like a squiggly black thread with a knob on each end. The other looks like a grey quarter moon shape.

I read that they don't go away and that my eye and my brain should get use to them so that I don't notice them.

I freaking hope so.

 

I've got laundries to do...damn it.

Something is happening with my eye and it's scaring me.

I went outside to talk to my son a minute ago and the lights out there, where it's dark, are doing something funny over in the outside corner of the eye that got the floater.

It's like they are flashing it it or something.

Shit.

I'm worried.
