I hope it's something like that, Ori.

I don't have any money or insurance for a torn or detaching retina.

Just listening to music and browsing the forums. I haven't ventured out here before. Just seeing what it's all about. Not much going on in my world, pretty lonely if you ask me.

I get them sometimes with no pain. today at work, I was looking at white papers on a light grey desk and a brown orb circled the papers. weird-ed me out for a sec.

any LED lights bleeding from anywhere?, could be a nerve memory, from like looking into a lamp to long. did that happen anywhere?

I found what it is, I'm pretty sure; and it's normal if nothing goes wrong, lol

When you age the vitreous gel in your eye starts to pull away from the retina which is okay and won't hurt your vision, unless the pulling is too strong and a tear or detachment occurs.

They say to have an eye doctor check it when it begins and that it should be over with no problems in about 3 months. You have to get another recheck along the way.

When it happens in one eye, it usually happens in the other within a year.

I'll have to see an eye doctor on Friday if I can find one open.

And, I have to keep praying that all goes smoothly with this.

    It's pretty scary.

I've never heard of it yet it's supposed to be normal.

We will be leaving shortly to travel 50 -60 miles for dinner with my daughter's new in-laws. I expect it to be lots of fun; especially when I was told "We don't smoke (weed) in front of Uncle Frank". lol So a bunch of stoners will be dipping in and out of hiding from Uncle Frank today.

The girls are bringing my Piper to me so she can spend the weekend here. Yay!

I still have the same issues with the eye. Sleeping didn't make it go away.

people used to ask each other this on the street and i never new what to answer. i mean the planet continues to rotate on its axis, and progress around its primary
most things that occur to me, the person asking is as likely to already know as anything i might have to add.
i've never trusted the accuracy or usefulness of corporate media, having had some small direct experience with them myself.
online is just other people like me who might say almost anything.
some of the indi media cover stories the corps won't, but readily admit bias
(though doing so, i often dn, and tyt, far more objective then anything on the corp channels when those dane to cover anything at all)

my own life i tend either to not live in real time, or to not take notes and keep bibliographies when i do.

    "What's happening?"

    Yeah, it's like "'Sup?"

I'm still having the eye symptoms so I'll be trying to find an eye doctor to see me tomorrow.

Dinner with the new in-laws was great - drank a little wine, ate alot of food, smoked a little weed.

I like cold, dreary weather. Especially when it's blowing through the trees and raining against the windows. I like that sound a lot.

Me too, its my favorite. It has been sunny and warm here for way too long, since last spring basically..except one day a couple of weeks ago we had a dreary, cool day and it was on my motherfuckin birthday. Best bday present a girl could have.
