The soccer game I am playing let's you speak to your opponent.
But it only has like 10 preset things to say. Like good luck. And let's go. Or unlucky. Or good game.

I would pay 10 bucks for the one thing I actually want to say most of the time.....

Fuck you.. yes fuck you for that cheap shot. Fuck you for saying "thanks" when I make a bad shot. Fuck you for taking forever to make your turn.


I think the company is missing out on a big market of angry gamers that just want to let some tension go.

So it's a like a phone game? I don't even use my headset for my play station usualy. The mean trash talk gets old.

 

yeah i only play it on my phone, its great for playing while in commercials or slow storylines while i am watching tv.

it may be available on the pc but i never looked for it there because when i am on the computer i have all my attention towards whatever i am doing.

 

Oh and a marshmallow for the snowman head.

I melted some chocolate and used a squishy thing that I squish and it comes out of a nozzle.

 

I'm in such a slump with my pool playing and it's not even funny anymore. I dunno. A month or so ago I was at my peak and now I have zero confidence in anything I do. I think I've put way too much pressure on myself. I wake up and I practice and I tell myself, you can't miss this practice. And I miss. And I get angry and frustrated.

I read something just now and yeah, that's almost a problem of it's own I've read too much. I'm trying to do too much. But it said, that a slump usually begins with a lost game. You miss a shot and so you practice that shot. You're already flustered, anxiety has crept in. This results in 20 more missed attempts at the one shot. Then you start the doubt. Oh my how true that is. I always set the same shots up to practice.

Maybe I need to walk away from it for a few days. I really think I've other stuff subconsciously on my mind. When I wake up and train, I always have that, other thought going on. And I miss. And I get angry at myself. And I rush that same shot again. And miss. And doubt it all over.

Today things I had trained all week worked, but it was the other stuff that didn't. I didn't feel happy being there. I told myself, You can't lose this morning you need to win all your games to prove it to yourself you haven't lost anything. The article also said you don't "lose" your talent, it just sits behind the wall of emotions and doubts. Tells me to practice easy shots. Makes sense. Boring repetitive shots.

But being bored I feel has its own disadvantages because you tend to try stupid things. But the article also came up with a very good point. Good pool is boring. When you can do what you want to do, every shot is easy, and you start to play boring pool. Lots of straight short shots. Once you get over the fact they can control the cue ball so well, watching someone run a table in 8 strokes is boring. That's the goal, to become a boring pool player.

So. I'm not certain I'll train this weekend. I wanna get out to cash Comp on Sunday, I'll see. I dunno. I just dunno. But I do know, I'm really annoyed at it all!!!!

 

Oh here's a good one.

Throw all 15 balls onto the table and shoot them in any order but opposite handed. You won't sink many. Keep trying this until you start to sink a few. What you're doing is training your brain to use different muscles etc. because a pre game shot is so routine, going back to your dominant hand seem to re-trigger the muscle memory of how you play your shot.

I mean it seems logical.

 

When my husband was involved with drum line, he said the director would sometimes change something in the performance at the last minute and it worked like a charm to make them stay on their toes and sharp about things again.
