I would like to clean my diet up a bit. I've went off the rails a bit lately as far as that goes. I've put on some decent muscle, and also a bit of fat, but my strength at the gym has went up drastically and I am hitting PRs every week. But I just don't feel as good as I did when I was eating clean (or mostly clean). I've also been drinking way too much beer on my nights off from work, so I would like to curtail that a bit as well.
I want to take in some musicals, maybe an opera, a couple of plays, go to more art museums, read some russian lit and read poetry out loud to my family and bore them...just in general i want to soak up more culture...it isnt really a NY resolution, my deciding to seek out more culture in my life just coincides with the end of the year. I also need to work out consistentally instead of sporadically. And eat veggies whenever i'm tempted to snack on frozen pizza at night. I guess thats it.
I'm going to box up and throw out all my depression and anxiety concerning my wife's cancer diagnosis over 2 years ago. She's clean as of 4 weeks ago. It's going to stay that way. Going to concentrate on living everyday like it's the last with her. She missed out on 2 years of sex. We'll definitely be making up for lost time.. EDIT: Can't wait for 2017!!!
I simply do not make them.I don't need the pressure.I just try to improve things from day to day as and when I can.
I need to clean up my diet a bit as well, actually. Thank you for reminding me. Are you sleeping better these days?
Yes! I was musing about this on my way to work this morning. There are two types of people: those who make New Years resolutions and those who just change when they see the need.
Lol, nevermind. Mentioned it to work and they offered me a stupid big raise and the ability to work from abroad if I stayed. At least this means I can go home for periods of time next year.
Probably try and not eat out as much like with fast food. I always like going to resteraunts but I'm turning 30 in 2017 and I think my weekly trips to all things bad is a little outdated for me. I still like to think I'll have pizza few times a month, but not the oil filler burgers and fries and chicken.
