That's every program ever. I always figure however many verbal commitments there are, you'll be lucky to see a third of that actually register.

    so true.
the other thing that kills us is when people show up the first day with a check in hand, makes it tough at times especially if it takes a few weeks to get supplies.

Yeah, registration deadlines are obviously just a suggestion.

It's the old "equality vs. equal opportunity" thing. People are not all equal, disabilities completely aside.

I'd like a job that makes me rich and famous too. I'm also realistic enough to know it's never gonna happen.

On the other hand, I'd always give props to the guy in the wheelchair for going out there and trying despite the odds.

Oh yeah. But you are still the OP, meaning you brought it up.

And my post still stands as is.

I thought selling weed and spacecake at a dispensary (medical or not) is just as much part of the service industry as selling beer and pizza at a hooters.

It's front line retail, and you have to have a competitive edge of some sort to survive.

Drug peddlers of any type are generally expected to be attractive. Look at pharmeceutical reps - they're held to the same beauty standards as flight attendents were back in.the 60s. And these are educated women.

The only thing that really bothers me about the practice is it assumes men have more buying power than women. Where is my eye candy?

I think the owners of these medical marijuana shops trust younger females with the merchandise more than males. Who definitely commit way more crimes than females.
