most buy-it-and-build-it kits like that come with a bunch of extra screws. i guess they assume the person buying it is too stupid to follow the instructions, and will end up making a bunch of mistakes and having to use extra hardware. it's probably a correct assumption often enough.

 

Yeah probably.
It's helped so much so far my garage now is looking empty and lots of room. going to be a nice little den.

Had a dream I got invited to a band I didn't like. We are tailgating and I ask if there is an opening band. Someone said yeah on that stage over there. So I walk to the next room and the foofighters are playing. Some woman had over twenty white dogs on the outside isle. I get to the front row and look back at the crowd and there are a giant group of people dressed up like white dogs all on top of each other like a pyramid. I try to take a pic but the button on my camera is broke. Spent the rest of the dream trying to fix the button.

 

I've been cleaning house this morning and watching youtubes with my grandson.

I'm about to go out and veg in the sunshine. :sunny:

I only got 3 hours of sleep last night.

 

I got a chromecast for Christmas. I am torn between hooking that up and putting puppy pics online.

 

The other grandpa was supposed to be here to pick the boy up at 3:00.

Damn it, come on man! I'm fading fast and hard.

 

We got into a biiig discussion tonight about if we were in the movie titanic, which one of us would get on the floating wooden board at the end and who would stay in the water. We decided that. No, I decided that I'd be the one in the water. Not because I wanted to die or anything but I'd be the one stupid enough to think I could pull it off and make it out alive anyway.

I am hosting dinner for new years day so I have been getting ready for that. I decided to do surf and turf this year for a change. Lobster, shrimp and scallop linguine and fillet mignon. I am going to do baby roasted taters and roasted veggies to go with the steak and serve a salad. It should be fun as we are doing an evening of board games and cards after dinner.

I accidentally bought pre ground coffee, i have to course grind at home to use my french press, pre-ground is too fine and will clog it

And i'm so done with drip coffee

Maybe i will try making the ground coffee Turkish style tomorrow morning
