That's okay. Really, I don't have any claims or assertions that I need to defend with that much effort. Here's a page on crystal vibrations because I have it handy. http://www2.ess.ucla.edu/~schauble/Phonons.html If someone is interested they can do more research. Any of it can be taken or left. I'm not reliant on anyone else believing what I believe. I don't need to conquer anyone's mind.
That all your science fiction beliefs come from "theoretical science" and that you cling on to these "theoretical" theories like a leech clings to the host. As soon as someone believes in something "theoretical", and in which the grounds constitute nothing more than a personalization, if you do not agree with it, it's wrong. Nothing unusual or anything.
In my opinion...you'd be better off with a therapeutic massage than that Reiki business. Matter of fact....massage is a wonderful healing technique for most people.
It's nonsense. Nonsense hurts when people need something effective than placebo, in which case it's disgusting. Otherwise it's faith healing with sedimentary rocks. Case closed.
what was theoretical about what GB posted????? based on this and other posts you have made you seem to have a rather distorted understanding of science and scientific research/theory in general. what is theoretical is that at best all we can ever do is predict things within a degree of probability, therefore everything we know is tentative and open for revision. The more consistently we observe the same phenomena occur, the greater degree of probability we ascribe to it and establish "scientific laws", but anyone versed in the scientific method understands it is all tentative, so you are not really making the point you believe to be.
This cat made his fortune with these: If you google pet rock...there are some really col pics. Who knew? So, are crystals more powerful than rocks? If so...why?
everything has energy if you consider even the most solid matter is composed of densely packed atoms constantly vibrating against each other. but by that logic there is no real scientific reason why crystals would have "better" or more healing energy than any other inanimate object.
not that I really have anything against people who do believe crystals have healing properties. On the contrary, I generally like people who use their imagination a whole lot better than people who don't.
What about a Cat Of Nine Tails? A crystal probably has better healing energy than that? Unless your into that. In which case, probably better than crystals.
I wasn't referring to anything that he was saying as theoretical at all. More so that the personal belief of the crystals to the individual may be "theoretically" legit. That's all. And who can argue with that? ... Theoretically speaking.
I think you are having an issue with English semantics and how theory is used in regards to science compared to the casual or general use of the terms theoretical or theory, this is something that goes over a lot of people's heads, even in America. I figure it's either that or I completely erased a prior discussion we had in another thread from my mind.
I googled the right words to make sure I was using the correct terminology. In this instance, there's a "theory" behind the crystals. So theoretically speaking, what's been discussed makes sense. Whether or not there's any factual proof to any of it at the moment I find inconclusive and comes down to interpretation on the subject.
A friend of mine is selling wire wrap Crystal's and the blue citrine one I'm looking at is 15 dollars (USD) and i was wondering if anyone knows if that a good deal or not? Sorry if if this isn't the right place to ask but thank out to anyone willing to help.
All I know is Feldspar, Mica, and Quartz, combine to make up my granite kitchen counter but it hasn’t improved my cooking one iota Hotwater
ask a rockhound. someone who goes out and looks for and collects rocks. if your friend is doing some kind of craft thing, the 15 bux for his time and creativity is reasonable. i'm not familiar with the term 'wire wrap crystals'. but i'm guessing that's what's implied.
I swallow small chunks of powerful healing crystals whenever I come across them. That way, their healing aura is always with me, no matter where I go.
