The Donald Trump Score Card

I'm back...I've been off line and away from news services for a few days so I have a lot of catching up to do!

Let's see if I can summarize the last few days, in no particular order:

291. So we're going to build the wall. Trump will have the U.S. pay for it, not Mexico, then try and recoup the money from Mexico. Now, if I understand this correctly he's going to try to channel existing funds away from approved programs and start building. Total cost will be about $25 billion, plus $13 billion a year to man it and an additional amount per year for maintenance.
Mexico will pay one way or another and according to Trump and his team, the way they pay will be very complicated or involved or some such...which tells me he has no idea how he will force them to pay.
Mexico's President last night again said Mexico will not pay, Trump responded by telling him not to show up in Washington for their meeting on Jan. 31.

So I predict that Trump will start the wall, run out of money after siphoning off all he can get from worthwhile projects...Congress will refuse to grant any new funds...and Trump will blame them for not completing a stupid idea of his.

292. Trump is going to investigate the "corrupt " election that got him elected. So here we go wasting more taxpayers' money. After consulting right wing conspiracy sites, Trump is convinced about 5 million people voted illegally in the Presidential election...all of them for Hillary. All his votes were Kosher. He is going to investigate those who are registered in more than one state, that would include his top adviser Steve Bannon, his pick for Treasury, Steve Mnuchin, and of course his daughter Tiffany Trump...and you, if you moved out of state and never contacted your previous board and had your name removed. I'll send you a cake in prison.
Now, it's not illegal to be registered in more than one state, it's just illegal to vote in more than one state, so I don't know what that's about.
Next, he will investigate all the dead people that are still on the rolls. You know Aunt Harriet that died on her way to vote and wasn't immediately removed, those vets killed overseas that are still registered, your mother, father, brother, child that died 6 months ago and you never called the the board to have them removed (however you do that), etc. None of them voted illegally of course because......they're dead.
He offered as proof the example of pro golfer Bernard Langer. According to Trump, Langer was standing in line to vote somewhere near his home in Florida when he was told he couldn't vote. But! Two other people in line who looked like they couldn't vote were given provisional ballots!
Clearly voter fraud in Trump's eyes.

Turns out Langer doesn't know Trump and is a German citizen so he can't vote.

 

293. Two Democrats have introduced a bill to limit Trump's ability to launch nuclear weapons. Congressman Ted Lieu introduced the same bill last year to limit Obama's, and all President's ability to launch preemptive nuclear strikes without a declaration of war by Congress. Senator Edward J. Markey joined him.
Lieu stated last night on The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell that the U.S. "Has a problem....our President may be unhinged"

294. Trump will take Iraqi's oil! ISIS is using Trump in recruitment video. Trump has reiterated that he wants Iraqi's oil, the oil of a sovereign country. Of course Trump doesn't recognize Iraqi as a country, so that simplifies matters. Now, we have troops in Iraqi who he has just placed in the position of fighting Isis in Iraqi, to aid Iraqi, while Trump is threatening to take Iraqi's oil. This can't be good for our troop's or our relations in the area or the world.

295. Trump is blackmailing U.S. cities and states. Trump signed an executive order (you know one of those illegal things Obama would sign) to take away federal funding from any city that resists his round up of aliens.
So much for state's rights.
New York city threatens Trump with a lawsuit, California vows to fight, numerous other cities will battle Trump as well.
Trump is deputizing the local police to racially profile.

296. It has been observed that Trump is going after those cities in which he did not win during the election. Note that the many sanctuary cities and cities targeted for voter fraud voted in the main for Hillary.

 

297. Protests against Trump continue. Last night.

298. The Anne Frank Center For Mutual Respect releases a statement on Donald Trump. If you don't know who Anne Frank is, look her up.

 

299. The entire senior State Department team just resigned.

 

300. Jared Kushner, Trump's son in law, is also registered to vote in two states.
I can't wait until he locks them all up!!!

301. 700 Alumni and student members from from the Christian school Calvin College are preparing a letter opposing Betsy DeVos. Calvin College is DeVos' Alma mater. Names are still being gathered.

 

302. Pittsburgh, site of "The Whiskey Rebellion", town of Polish, Italian, German, Irish, and many other immigrants has joined the list of cities defying Trump. The Mayor said:

303. Six journalist have been charged with felonies for covering Trump's inauguration.

304. Steve Bannon tells the media to shut up.

“I want you to quote this,” Mr. Bannon added. “The media here is the opposition party. They don’t understand this country. They still do not understand why Donald Trump is the president of the United States.”
