    I use it because in my reserach I found out that it's good for psoriasis, which is what I have.

    As for AHA and BHA, the main difference is that AHA is good for removing the outer most layer of your skin, and BHA is good for going into your pores and removing all the dirt in that pore. Both promote cell turnover, which is basically your system realizing that it's wounded and therefore reacts by growing new skin. And that is good for basically any skin issue you may have, because you simply have new skin.

    I know you can get chemial AHA and BHA, but you can also it get naturally. For example, cane sugar, milk, fruits, etc. Oh, and they're also tools that you can use, like the PMD.

    I ordered the bha/aha toner.

    So it apparantly causes a purge where all the junk clogged in your pores comes to the surface

    I didnt realize this at first, i thought it was just breaking me out.

    I havent used it in a couple days and my skin is calming down, but I guess after reading about the purge process i'll continue using it for a couple of weeks and see if it gets better

    I also ordered a mineral sunscreen today, i really need to be more diligent about wearing sunscreen.

    Yeah, I'm skipping that then. For now, at least.
    I am not in mood for the purge process and breaking out atm.

    What sunscreen did you order?

    Currently, dilute dr B, or sulfur soap for rosacea. I exfoliate with baking soda in the dilute DrB.
    An oil, which rotates, for moisture.
    Sunscreen.
    Aside from lip balm and the occasional dab of mascara (3-4x a year), that's it.
    No make up, no pile of potions.

    1)cleansing 2x a day with a cleansing foam
    2)exfoliating 1x a week with an exfoliator
    3) toner 2x a day
    4) moisturising 2x a day (day and night cream) + eye cream (light in the morning and super moistening in the night)

    sheet masks and masks from bodyshop and eye patches from time to time

    trying to follow it thoroughly as I am sometimes lazy

    yeah sure!
    1) cleanser used to be Youthful by Holy Land Cosmetics (ran out of it - will get another one once I'm back in Russia for annual leave. it's a product of Israel, since I am living in UAE would be impossible to buy any Israeli stuff. This cleanser is amazing). So far using Bioderma purifying foaming gel;
    2)exfloliator is bioderma as well (exfoliating purifying gel). I also use Lactolan peeling mask by Holy Land 1x a week - it's great;
    3)toner is from a local organic shop, the brna name is Akin. beside that I'm using a prepping lotion with retinol by Holy Land (I have problems with my skin occasionally and this helps to maintain it - 1x a week);
    4) day cream is Alpha Complex Day defence cream and the night one is Alpha Complex Active Cream, all by Holy Land. When I don't have it, I use Clarins (both day and night multi active gels - best for those who have oily/combination skin).
    night eye cream is Kiehl's Avocado Treatment (I love it - perfect for the local weather conditions) and day eye cream is Clarins (eye contour gel).

    sheet masks from the face shop - it's korean, bodyshop masks come in jars - don't remember the name but it has rose petals and it hydrates skin and it looks so bight afterwards!
    eye patches are from iherb.com, they're koran and called gold racoony - highly recommended.

    I heard great things about that Kiehls Avocado. Will have to give it a try.
    Although I had a few Kiehls products that I found didnt do much, like that midnight concentrate, or turmeric mask.

    Oh that face shop. I meant there was a physical shop you were talking about lol, I didnt make the connection.. I usually just get TonyMoly, will google yours.

    Anyways, are you by any chance an Emirates girl?

    And that HolyLand brand sounds interesting. I used to use Israeli stuff, with dead sea minerals. Cant remember the brand name though.

    I meant "Emirates girl" as in Emirates cabin crew :)
    The red lipstick helped make that assumption :p

    As for TonyMoly...I usually just get that stuff on beautynetkorea.
    They ship fast, AND they always send gifts (a bunch of different samples).

    Red wine and tea tree are my favorites.

    And iherb takes tooooo long

    I need a good, gentle toner with just few ingredients
    No alcohol
    No perfume

    Hey, I've tried cucumber witch hazel toner - it's a really good one, has soothing effect and does not irritate/dry your skin - you should give it a try.

    Iherb delivery estimation is usually longer than it actually takes to ship and deliver the product - max 6 days for my location.

    What type is your skin?

    I've ordered stuff from iherb before. But I heard it's been slow lately, for whatever reason.
    A few of my friends ordered something in January (like 25th-31st) and it still hasn't arrived.
    So I'm sceptical. I never had any trouble with them before though.

    My skin is on the dry side. But it's really sensitive and doesn't react well to alcohol and perfumes, turns red easily.
    I don't have any major skin issues though, like acne.

    ah, in this case yeah, you definitely need smth water based with natural ingredients such as rosewater or chamomile extracts and vitamin B derivatives
