Only 300 or so were made. There's another version of the "liquid" finish variety but I don't collect those ones. Basically to make money each model diecast is "finished" differently.

You can get the standard car, chrome finish which takes away most of the primary color and replaces it with silver chrome, galaxy finish puts a metallic sparkle over the car. I forget what liquid finish is... I think it may be the high glossy.

Then there the raced versions which I like to collect. They are meant to resemble to car how it was after the race or in victory lane so they usually have scratches and rubber build ups. These days they're getting into the damage a lot more by actually recreating the dents and creases on the body.

Then there's also nickle, copper finishes which nickle is that bronze look and copper that gold flashy look. They are expensive.

Personally I just like the normal version and raced wins. I'm buying the car I like the look of how it looks, not with a fictional finish. Though admittedly I have a Pepsi nickle finish car, just to see how it would be. I'd have preferred the standard. =\

Under 10s is under 10s. :D I think I remember if you turned 11 while in season that was okay lol. But you couldn't start the season at 11 if it was under 10s.

Mind you if you're already 10 then you aren't under 10s are you?

Gah! The whole system is flawed.

that is awesome, seems a bit excessive but if i was a racing fan i would want a car that looked like it did when it won a big race.
i only collect because of the sponsors, i have a couple star wars cars, a couple beer ones, and a few random unofficial ones like hooters, rt.66 and pepsi,
i have no idea who drives which cars i have. i stopped following racing after mario andretti retired.

Do you have the Jeff Gordon Star Wars? I know there is one. It's blue with white numbers and like, Star Wars people on the hood. =p

When I started collecting I just started collecting but then I started more so buying cars that had won. Now if I kept that up I'd have eventually 97?? Cars... I have like near 50 but only 10 or so are raced wins I think. So I wish I started that a little earlier lol. Or I collect the cars that look good to me.

That's a thunk with Chase though is his paints don't "pop" like jeffs did. I don't know if that's by design or not though. Personally I think Chase wanted to start off without the Gordon association, dramatically changing the paints helped that but I'm not sure how much influence the sponsors actually have in the paint design either. I like the 2017 NAPA a lot more with the yellow than last years. :)

one thing i know is that cats are survivors.
mine ran away during the coldest winter i ever remember about 20 years ago.
finally saw her after 2 weeks in the yard next door.
she was hiding under their house but was in survival mode.
i put down a can of cat food to lure her out. went in the house came back 15 minutes later and the food was frozen solid.
she was a big cat when she left...she was pretty thin when we got her back.
i got her to come to me and went to grab her she ran away just as i lunged towards her.
my mom had a little bit more patience in the below 0 weather and sat until she came right up to her...took a while but pepper was happy once she was back inside a warm house.

    I'm hoping hard.

I've had cats come back but I've had more disappear and never show up again.

Here's a quick pic of the girls from yesterday.

I have to hurry and get it down because someone here told me it was terrible of me to put up pics of little girls in "tight uniforms".

aaaand this is the one thing that annoys me about cats lol. See a dog would be at your door, not next door and you'd never need to lure it out either, it would look at your house or you with eyes full of adoration and it would come.

A cat.. wants nothing to do with you or its place of residence. Just so rude. =p

Yeah, I couldn't figure out why an old gay guy would have such a fit.

Most of those cats are probably alive and well living with another family, likely a single, middle age, to elderly woman
who takes in strays (even if the cats don't meet the criteria of being a stray)

I didn't smoke or ingest weed for awhile either for the same reason. I suppose the accessibility and knowledge of what you are smoking provides some relief. Although I still have got in over my head a few times with stuff from dispensaries as well.

They are not all natural but I found nootropics such as piracetam work fairly well for anxiety.

    My kitty is home!

I think the signs did it because it's obvious that he was inside someplace clean during the heavy rain we had.

I've given the cats Cat Nip for their celebration.

I gave hubby and the grandkids, who are out of school again today, a whole cake I made last night.

Now, it's off to collect all the signs I put out yesterday, and to buy some celebration dinner to cook tonight.

Holy shit! A doll friend of mine said she was going to send me some dolls.....and they are not cheap....and a package just arrived here from her.....about 50 pounds. She is not well and has been in the hospital a lot lately...:(
I have been working on a care package for her, as well.....I have not opened this yet....but karma....I sent a package today and got one unexpectedly...and I know what I am going to be doing.....getting her package ready to mail soon. I made a painting for her once of her cats, and then the cat I painted for her died of illness....That was very sad.....

Anyway...off to open my package now and do some other things for the day before the storm hits here.

[IMG] Glad that Willow is home safe and sound. :)

We once had one of our dogs get out on us and it took us about 18 hours to find him. We were all basket cases. The person whose doorstep he landed on took him inside for the night in case he was cold. They saw our sign the next day and called us. I think we shed as many tears with that call as we did until we knew where he was. :)
