Speaking of Kerouac and the beatniks....like henry Miller, ect.....
They wrote with passion and anger....and so can I....You have not seen nothing yet...lol
been told i would have been perfect in that niche with my art and writings many times....
I have a beatnik soul...not hippie one.
My dad was beatnik, too.

Where is my coffee house to meet with other writers and artists?

 

Thinking about the days of going to the store with food stamps. We would get change and try to buy ball cards but weren't allowed. We had to walk out the store and walk back in a second later and pay for them with the same change that we were just told we couldn't use.

 

Winter weather is back... :bigcry:

 

Yeah, we are said to be getting 12-18" of snow starting tonight and all day tomorrow. I expect we will lose power here, as we do,even in rain storms.....

 

Flashlights....check....must do that soon....

 

At least my brother's birthday package is on its way as of early this morning. I am just worried now...it will get lost in the blizzard...such a worry wart sometimes....

 

We are suppose to get 15 cm of snow tomorrow. I am not impressed. The last few weeks have been all over the place from spring like to dog gone winter again.

I have decided it is just enough!

yeah, I know it won't make it not show up but I feel slightly better for saying it.

 

this storm is completely missing me

 

I'm driving into it.

Sisters birthday... mom was gonna take a bus but the price went up. So she asked me to drive her up there.

 

My hands are really useful. They pick things up,wave,take my weight when doing press-ups...proper bits of multi-task kit,my hands are...

 

Got a call from my old boss that the background check people said It says my last job was from 2010-2012. And have had no job since then. Was confused until I remembered that's when the company sold our factory to a competitor. Don't know why that didn't show up.
I told him I wasn't working at all so I know that they wouldn't find out I been working under the table since my unemployment ran out.

 

20" fell here......
Our plow guy usually asks whenever it snows..."You want me to plow again?"...after he came early and plowed the first time when snowing.....This time, when really needed..... nothing...
So where is he? People need to get out.....
Finally get a hold of him at 10 am this morning...State of emergency yesterday and stay off roads unless emergency....He gets out late last night at midnight to begin working...he has many people to plow out.......and his transmission breaks down....on his early jobs...He has a second snow plow truck, so he is out there working, and who knows when he will get to us.....Vet neighbors need to get back to the city....Other neighbors walked out of here and had someone pick them up....a little while ago on main road out of here...They had to get to work....town accountant here and their busy time right now...this private road here is quarter mile long.....I can walk out of here....but pugs cannot...Snow is higher than them.

i am going a little stir crazy here with these animals.....Stan tried to manually shovel our driveway....and it took him 4 hours just to do 10 feet......and he could not do anymore. Snow is HEAVY!...and icy today....

Well, at least, we did not lose power at all this time.

 

Got lucky very little snow here...But it is cold...

 

Thinking about yesterday, the vet neighbor is half a mile on the private road.....they are after me.....further down....so they definitely did not want to walk out. I am in the middle here.....Accountant has less than a quarter mile to walk out.....but yesterday...it was funny....My accountant neighbor who is in his 50's works with his wife...She is in her her early 70's. I watched both of them start to walk out of here yesterday morning.....and both are so young looking and moving..the wife even looks younger than her husband. I almost dropped my mouth to the floor when she told me how how old she was a few years ago....Now, his son, by a previous marriage....who is 27 also lives with them and his daughter, who is 3 years old now. The wife left him and her daughter for a woman.

....and they were walking in over two feet of snow, including the snow drifts.......

They are inspirational.


and then everyone has huge long their own private driveways for starters...

 

Watching the little monster today...The movie "HOME" is playing on the tv...

We just got about 1 inch of snow, it has already melted...Thank to the sun... :sunny:

 

i had a rough night..worst headache ive had in years and couldnt sleep and i have tons of things to do today

the ibuprofen and tylenol worked..i got lots done
