Sounds like my grandfather. His neighbor is black and an African immigrant. He's a Trump voter so you can imagine how he feels about that. His white neighbor is allowed to be helped by me when it snows she is not. It got kind of akwerd when she offered to pay me one day and he yelled out the door "NOT HER".

Then all he does it bitch that "African niggers" do not shovel because they don't know how and she is taking advantage of the country. The women runs a home for adult mentally challenged people and everyone else likes her. It's upsets me so much then he bitches that no one in the neighborhood talks to him. Never thinks it's because all he does it yell at them over their yards and they probably know hes a racist.

I'm about at my wits end with him but my mother and girlfriend keep calming me down reminding me that he needs me.

 

good for you Pete. I've been around old assholes for as long as I can remember and they gripe my very ass.

Unan, I wish you would slip over there and help out the lady before jackass grandfather has a chance to start yelling and all that. But I do understand that might be next to impossible to do. Having grown up around a lot of sorry old people, it literally does something to my guts to have to cater to them... (might explain my on and off high blood pressure) It did me a WORLD of good when I quit feeling I had to be nice to the self-proclaimed "Christians" I grew up going to church with. It didn't help them. lol

the closed the 401 highway just east of here for some kind of dangerous spill???...

 

I was on I-90 in Montana years ago doing 70mph and a truck probably 50 yards in front of us hit some kind of bump and a good 20ft steel pole flew off the trailer, bounced on the road once, and slid to the side. Was scary as fuck.

There's a local billiard magazine that the cover has the guy I played two weeks ago as the GOAT (greatest of all time) and I'm like yep, and I beat him in my first game too.

I beat the greatest! I was therefore, the greatest for 5 mins.

Back to form guys. I hit 6 balls at home before I left. Felt good.
Scored 3/4 wins and a MASTER!! My very first master break.
A master is, I have the first hit/break and I sink a ball and then I never leave the table. I sank a red. Stayed on red. Sank 6 reds, kinda lost position on the black but had a shot, nailed it and I got up and I yell "was that a master!!" Then everyone came and congratulated me.

The guy I played who didn't get a shot, he doesn't technically "lose" the match like, it doesn't hurt his record as they judge that to be well you didn't have a shot. I score the win he just doesn't get scored for anything. He was stirring me up all morning about it too.

So after losing yesterday it definitely helped me today, but I felt I was going to play good just from the 90 seconds I had at home. I think the first guy I played was annoyed because he kept playing snooker on me. I had one red left and he had all his yellows in the way and he would try and set his balls up and snooker me. Then I come up with a big hit to get my ball out to a vacant bit of table and it jags in and leaves me a shot on the 8. He was grumpy but I was like man, fuck you and eat a dick if you aren't happy, I've lost so many games that way, I'm taking that. I still needed to make the 8 cueing over another ball.

Shoulda won my last game but the guy was so frustrated he was just smacking balls as hard as he could which his attitude wore on to me too and since we'd already won the match, I just thought, oh well let's smash some balls too.

because of the high winds the snow we got is drifted every where.....road end of my driveway is clear but right in front of the van it drifted a couple feet high
