Glad you like it. It'll be available as a virtual shirt for virtual peoples (in Second Life), someday. Like, whenever I get enough shirts made up to stock my store enough to be able to say "We're Open!" It's only taken about 7 years so far... but I'm close. (I am the BEST procrastinator!)
So, hey, I'm drinking the last 2 Salt&Peppers tonight. Probably shuffling through other leftovers before the end of the night. Which also means that I don't have a new review. But, I do have a question... how many posts do you guys see per page? Like, I'm set at something like 10 posts and am on page 217 of this thread. Are y'all different than that? Also, remember when I mentioned dancing on that stripper pole at that club? (Like two posts above the post I just quoted by GLENGLEN.) Well, here's a shot from that night...
cant change the posts per page.. its set at 10 now.. think because video pages were hanging.. im not used to it much yet myself, past was 20.. i like 20, I like 420 more..
I haven't been posting a fraction of the awesome beers I have been drinking lately, but it's been lots of Tree House, Trillium, etc. This is what I am currently drinking. An awesome, very strong imperial stout coming in at 12.7% ABV. Lots of sweet, dark-roasted malts, coffee, bourbon, dark chocolate and vanilla. Gets better as it warms.
Oh, really, Orison? I'm so used to that being in settings that I just figured it was the same here. Interesting... but I can dig it. (But I agree on preferring 20 posts to 10.) And PRat (I love that nickname, for the comedy value), thanks for that stout review. Short it may be, but if you say a stout is awesome, there's a good chance that stout is fucking awesome. (And I can probably find it at a couple places near me.)
Lagunitas IPA as well. It's average. It's not a comic nickname, it's a rocking fucking song reference. Second life is for fags.
I had Sierra Nevada Otra Vez over the weekend. I really am digging the gose style but it wasn't nearly as good as the Westbrook Gose
I heard that Anhauser Busch, Miller, Coors, and all the big name corporate beers are buying out microbreweries like Sierra Nevada and Rogue, among many others. Shitlords. All of them
The first wave of craft breweries have been mostly bought out. Sierra Nevada, Rogue, ete.. these are all very average breweries that put out mostly mediocre beers. They used to be great, but much better breweries have since arose. The new wave of craft beer is coming out of the Northeast -- in particular the New England states. These are truly independent breweries that make some of the best beers in the world. I am talking Bissell Brothers out of Maine, Trillium and Tree House out of Massachusetts, and The Alchemist out of Vermont.
