Time to re-tip my cue.

It will be my second tip so far this year. This one has a little life left but with finals coming up (I'm looking ahead) and trials I want to have a tip that can take a beating and one I'll get used to before the important games. We need to tie or win one of our next two matches to make the finals and we've got the weakest team in all that, in hoping we can make the finals.



Though I guess there no comparison between my worn tip and a new when lined up together lol. Yep that was getting low.



And now the tip is on. I use electrical tape to protect the cue from the superglue and then I have a nifty clamp as you see. Cue goes through hard up against the top brass plate then you can lock it in place to dry. This will take about 4hrs. Then i take the clamp off, remove the electrical tape and hope I got it all symmetrical which is hard to tell as I put the tape probably too high close to the tip. If it's symmetrical then I am please and can start shaping the tip.

 

^ Irm, I didn't realize what it all takes to replace a tip! don't they just have push on tips you can swap out?? (i know i know, that's just for the "regular" folks eh?? *i have no freaking idea* )

So any of you folks here work out?? I was just trying to find any thread even related to this and there really isn't! hehe hmm. ^^

 

lynn you said you have a good canopy over the house....just throw a rope over a branch and tie one end around mama's waist and haul her up so she can reach the roof...we used to do this with my mom all the time so she could clean the birds nests out of the chimney

Yes there's plastic slide on tips but that's a bit rookie for me. so I buy the elk master tips, and then replace them myself. there's a little bit of work but 10-15 mins probably less really. Have to sand the surfaces down and add little pin pricks so the glue holds. Yeah. It was daunting the first time I tried it because I didn't want to ruin it lol. But you get better as you do it more often. I'm probably going to go through 3-4 tips in a year.

 

I wonder if the same application could be used to extend ones pecker?

Sister's boyfriend is an idiot. Money for 3 bad cars all with an interest rate of around 15% because he does not pay bills but no money for a bed for his kid. It's ok though he will be the next Conner Mcgreggor even though he has never won a fight. Gyms charge money to train there he always has money for that. I think he has brain damage honestly from all the punches. I'm a stoner and he's still VERY slow on the uptake to me on basic concepts.

I haven't had a tummy ache for a little while but the Turkish got to me. Damn Turks! Actually I think I've added a touch of weight which is good because I was concerned there a few weeks back that I was losing too much weight when I didn't want to so I guess after my last tummy virus I've been hungry and eating more as I realize I just burn too many calories during my day and I don't really fuel myself correctly, so I've been eating a little more and happy I'm putting some weight on. Now it's all about getting into my mid section exercises and tighten my skin back up.

I honestly thought I might have the hypothyroidism issue where you just burn calories for no reasons. :unsure: but I reasoned with myself that, other than my main meals and the snacks surrounding it for the other portion of my time I don't eat much at all really and yet I exercise and do my walks etc. so I started taking a protein shake too which I think is helping too.

I'm organizing my next elite pool match up. Thursday morning. I basically ask what day they're free then I set the time hehe. I said I can do weekend but honestly I've lot of work around the house. My lawns need a mow already and my hedges need a trim back it's like everything blossomed last week, big time.

I feel for the dude...he told me they weren't laying because he wasn't feeding them layer feed yet there was about 40 eggs among the boxes....which I am now boiling to feed back to all the hens to help egg production

he also said he had 6 hens and 2 roosters and I grabbed four hens and left one rooster....could be a rooster and hen inside the house though....I remember the wife telling me some birds lived inside....probably why the marriage disintegrated....5 dogs too

high profile marriage...when buddy died falling in the well last year it was the wife that was with him and jumped down the well to hold his head above water till help arrived......she has been a mess ever since....they run and own the pizza pub and she has split the island leaving him with the drama....I try and spend a few bucks there...he is also my 3rd nearest house and neighbor

I took it from an Alestorm song but I find it catchy. It'll be marine themed so pirates and Vikings and all that. Would host gigs and bands, small pool venue, good easy fast food etc.

I will get this hostel one day, but I'd still like a community pub, not just a pub for house guests.
