Pulling up old wall-to-wall carpeting is a job!

 

I had to do that not too long ago--the worst part, I thought, was pulling up all of the little nails or staples or whatever that are left over in the wood.

 

I'll eventually get to that.

This was installed by my former husband and he was an absolute freak about using too many staples in the padding.

 

No fun. You end up hunched over for hours on your hands and knees, yanking and twisting those little buggers out like a cruel dentist on stubborn baby teeth.

I was walking the dog in my son's yard when she opened her front door and one of her dogs came charging at us, in my son's yard.

I held tight to my dog, with all my might, while this stupid bitch stands and tries to call her dog home.

Use a fucking leash, slut!!!

 

I'll sit and scoot around the floor. My knees won't let me stoop much or squat at all.

 

What a weekend it's been. I've been house sitting my brother's dog, an Australian Cattle Dog. And we bonded greatly. We drove out and hiked in the redwood forest and walked on the coast, and drove back home all in one day together.

Man, I often forget how close I live to the Redwoods and the ocean. I need to get out on more adventures.

 

I had the girls all to myself today because hubby took a day to go to his regular pain doc appt.

I thoroughly enjoyed them!

We played I spy. We gathered smooth stones which they painted and turned into owls and lady bugs.

We watched a Tinkerbell movie. We laughed alot.

It was a nice day with them.

 

It's almost time to veg out on Hulu. I hope I can find something to watch. I binge watch when I find something and then it's all watched up. :bigcry:

 

on days like these I could really use a personal chauffeur and chef

 

With a forecast high temperature of only 52 F today we have a chance to break the all-time hi/low temperature for the day.

I refuse to turn on the heat in June, no matter what

Lots of stuff happened in the last week.

Finally sold the Tahoe. Worst craigslist vehicle sale ever.

I called Carolyn back in the afternoon and she asked how i got her name, number, why am i calling her, doesn't remember anything about buying a Tahoe.

I apologized for bothering her. I did chuckle after I hung up thinking about Irmi reply.
