A word of advice

When we used to have to give "observer flights" to guys like tech reps....foreign dignitaries..and other "JAFOS"...it was a ritual...almost and obligation..that we would try to do some aerobatic moves in order to make them puke.

But when doing this...make sure you have somebody back onboard (if on a carrier group) or at the NAS who will clean-up the mess. And you don't get stuck doing it yourself.

About the JAFOS. A names we gave them. We never told 'em what it meant. We even had cool-looking blue ball caps with the scrambled eggs on the peak, and they had JAFO embroidered on the front of the cap. Which we gave to them as souveneirs.

But we made-up the name JAFO...it stood for "Just Another Fuckin' Observer."
