Today Mika and Joe claim Trump tried to blackmail them.
They also refuted Trump's Mar Largo claim:

Yes just watched morning joe (wow isn’t the internet amazing) and the blackmail/threat thing with the National Enquirer was weird and in thought and execution it was dumb and ham-fisted.

If you don’t know it seems that Trump got his friend at the NE to start harassing Mika and Joe and their kids about a 'bad story' the NE was going to publish then Trump employees began ringing Joe to say all he had to do to stop the publication was personally ask Trump to get it stopped and the story would go away.

Presumably this was to have Joe owe him (Trump) a favour like in the Godfather – I mean for fuck sake that’s just silly as a con it was pathetic.

Anyway M and J said publish and be damned at the ‘bad story’ was a bit of crap nobody cared about, the thing is does thiis mean that Trump thinks everyone has secrets they want to keep secret and what does that say about him?

SNL needs to do a comedy sketch about Melania doing a public service announcement about the ills of bullying using Donald as an example. His victims could be present such as disabled people in wheel chairs and POW's. Trump could be standing next to her popping off bullying statements as to why all the bullying was supposedly justified. The sketch could end with Trump pushing her and the victims out of the way to hog the camera like he did to the foreign dignitaries at the press photo-op in Europe and issuing blackmail threats to anyone else who dares to speak out against bullying.

Posted this in the wrong message. This topic and the scorecard thread seems so similar.

^ wartches the people tag team and state a lot of propaganda bs and pat eachother on the back.

    ignores them

For those who think for themselves.

That map of the brain Image relating it to ones left and right brain is about the stupidest thing I have seen.
Left side - democrats, right side - republicans.

Left brain is the logical, problem solving side, language side
right brain is the creative side, often antisocial side. Introvert side.

What point are you trying to make with this brain being attributed to how one votes?

By this view creative people should vote for republicans.

That brain imaging is taking the right side of the brain, the creative side, introverted side, and attributing this side to conservatives/republicans. And left side of the brain, the logical side, mathematical/academia side, language side and attributing it to liberals/democrats.

About the stupidest thing I have seen in here, and people think this actually means something?

  7. Support your fellow man/woman instead of tearing him/her down. Be brazen enough to tell the truth. Try not to give in to anger, as it is a trap and playing right into their hands. Most of all be as confident in your integrity as they are in their callousness.

Yeah, but who seems the angriest? Trump supporters still do. I try to find things to be happy about every day, even though Trump is not someone i would have voted for in a million years....and I am a creative type.....brain type and I never voted Republican, so I have no idea about the brain thing, either.

and why are trump supporters so angry at people who do not accept Donald trump?...is what I want to know. Their man is in office. They should be happy.
When Obama was in office, the negative things people had to say about him did not affect me. I was just happy he was in office.

and we are supposed to forget about science, too, now? really?

Will you not be happy until we are all brainwashed?!

Yesterday, I was flipping the tv channels for a little while and stumbled on Hollywood news or something like that ridiculous program, and they were talking about trump's daughter and her fashion sense and how she has it nailed, no matter what one thinks of her politics......really?. promoting her now? She has zillions of dollars to wear what she likes....not things i would ever wear...some of the things....and I felt, are you trying to force her down our throats now, too? I felt angry...turned the channel off and went and did something else....all brainwashing!
Who the hell cares what someone wears?!

Trump's behaviors are causing people to formulate a panel that would assess the mental state of a President and determine if he or she is equiped for the job.

Bill to create panel that could remove Trump from office quietly picks up Democratic support

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/bill-create-panel-remove-trump-office-quietly-picks-democratic-support-124521145.html

    excerpt:

"Yet in the 50 years since the 25th Amendment took effect, Congress has never set up such a body. Raskin’s bill would do so. It calls for the creation of an “Oversight Commission on Presidential Capacity.” The commission would be a nonpartisan panel appointed by congressional leaders composed of four physicians, four psychiatrists and three others — such as former presidents, vice presidents or other former senior U.S. government officials. The commission, if directed by Congress through a concurrent resolution, would be empowered to conduct an examination of the president “to determine whether the president is incapacitated, either mentally or physically.”"

The good news is that the DOE has resumed announcement of decisions of its grant awards to businesses through programs such as SBIR. They were put on hold so that Rick Perry could figure out how the DOE works, the DOE that he said he would abolish. Such delays are damaging to businesses.

Cantwell, Shaheen to Energy Dept., SBA: End Delay of Innovation R&D to Small Businesses
Stalled awards program hurting ability of small businesses to develop competitive technologies, create jobs

    https://www.energy.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/2017/5/cantwell-shaheen-to-energy-dept-sba-end-delay-of-innovation-r-d-to-small-businesses

    excerpt:

"In a letter to Energy Secretary Rick Perry and SBA Administrator Linda McMahon, the senators wrote, “These programs provide a good return on investment for taxpayers, resulting in as much as $19 for each $1 in SBIR and STTR funding. We have consistently heard from small businesses that delays and missed deadlines by federal agencies have an outsize impact on small businesses. Unlike large firms and major research institutions, small businesses simply do not have the resources to tide them over when the government fails to meet its own deadlines.”"

Spakovsky made unsubstantiated claims about the contested 2008 U.S. Senate election between Al Franken and Norm Coleman (in support of Republican incumbent Coleman).

Some may recall Al Franken from the 1970's Saturday Night Live era where he made occasional appearances in the comedy sketches and worked as a writer. Franken got increasingly involved with political humor (his book 'Rush Limbaugh Is a Big Fat Idiot', for example) and national politics. He beat Norm Coleman for the U.S. Senate seat in MN in a close election after a recount and many months of legal battle.

Right. I do this....but every so often I have to get passionately angry to show that I care and am not dead. :D

    ;)

  19. Yeah I admit I wasn't too sure about the not getting angry bit. I myself have never been good at getting angry. I just become confused. But I have a lot of experience dealing with someone who thrived on people's anger...it excited and stimulated this person...and Donald Trump and his cohorts are a lot like that. Well most of the major players in the Republican party seem like that.

Expect the con artists to be out in full force. They'll be calling Trump supporters and saying that they are workers loyal to Trump and need names, addresses, and social security, credit card, and bank account numbers so that they can help Trump prove that 3 to 5 million people voted illegally for Hillary.
