Someone who is transgender has no need to identify themselves as such if they are a soldier, they are simply a soldier. Gender question should not be a question, neither should ethnicity. It showed huge amounts of money given to his racist pastor, a man who he had over to dinner once a week, a man who was anti American and pro Islam. Went to him for over 20 years.

He's the president, not an ordinary citizen. There's no good excuse to not be open about them for a president, except of course to hide something dubious.

I don't believe they do in Canada.

Another thing I find interesting is they do not release it year after year in the USA while in power as far as I can tell. They just release their previous year before running and often only a partial one. Easy enough to hide what you want to hide by moving money around or selling off your investments. Most people know years in advance that they will be running for presidency or prime minister and can prepare for it.

 

Not the current president, but the rest have...going back to FDR I think.

My point is that it is a choice, a choice I would not make to release and just because you are the president doesn't mean you have to. It began with Nixon, and we all know what he was. Hilary is another crook. Many of these people (presidents) did only partial releases, letting you see what they wanted you to see.

So many countries don't do it, yet people bitch about the USA for anything and everything. People expect more from that the USA pres than they do from their own government head. Just another excuse to complain imo and paint conservatives as evil.

With the fascist actions of groups who are boycotting all trump companies, investments and charities. he is protecting the interest of not only his children but that of the public who have invested in companies as well as charities. Some people are on a witch hunt.

You are entitled to your opinion. It's pretty clear releasing them would make a difference though: if they're ok it grows trust and the whole thing is really over. If not it is an affirmation he's not a reliable and trust worthy leader. Ordinary citizens are supposed to be honest in their tax returns yet this rich mr fancypants can lead this country while being dishonest about this and keeps who knows how many 1000s of dollars from the common good while hardworking citizens have to pay their fair share, essentially compensating for this shit. Why? Why not care a little or have a critical opinion about that..

He is not the only one to not do and to not release or to partially release you are still hiding something. To partially release it you are manipulating the people, letting them see only what you want them to see in order to paint yourself in a certain light.
