An excellent point. TMZ isn't at the top of my list of things to watch, but I do like to tune into celebrity news now and then, and when I'm very bored (honestly, only if I am) that means TMZ.

 

All I get is free cable so I'm not sure if it will be on. Somebody once tried to tell me that an MMA fighter could beat Bruce Lee which I found very offensive.

 

My prediction is that one bloke will win, and the other bloke will probably lose.

 

I had that same argument too, and defended Bruce Lee. First of all he's dead, and we will never know, so I hate when people make comparisons with no actual facts. And my other point is that Bruce Lee knew how to ground fight, as depicted in the opening scene of Enter the Dragon. Though this is a movie, it still portrays a well-rounded warrior and Bruce incorporated grappling into his Jeet Kune Do system. Whether people want to believe it or not, Bruce Lee was the godfather of true MMA.

I went for Mayweather and predicted McGreggor.

I like them both as fighters.

 

so it actually did happen? last i saw they were pretending there was some technical difficulty preventing it, so they could cash in on some more ads and whatnot without actually having to provide any content. pretty much like the whole year-long buildup to the fight.

textbook plan, let the newb tire himself out with body punches and ineffectual head shots and then when he is fatigued, lay into him.
in round two I called the strategy and the outcome, my daughters and future son-in-law didn't agree.

but the ref did call it a bit early, McGregor could have taken a few more blows to the head, but no way in hell he would have lasted another two rounds.

I do think they both underestimated the other guy though.

 

So when is the rematch???I wanna hear about it on ESPN and every social media site for the next three years until it happens.
