As expected, Trump used the Florida hurricane to boast about his perceived big hands, continuing an ongoing rhubarb about his hand size that dates back to the 1990's. Trump jokes about the size of his hands for the second time in 2 weeks at hurricane relief event Mark Abadi Sep. 14, 2017, 3:09 PM http://www.businessinsider.com/trump-hand-size-joke-gloves-hurricane-irma-florida-2017-9 excerpt: ""'They’re too small,' Trump said. The glove on his right hand ripped along his thumb, exposing skin. Trump began shaking hands and passing out hoagies – or, rather, pointing at them. 'Don't forget to take one!' he implored. 'Here's a nice one!'" The president made a similar remark in Houston two weeks ago as he passed out food to Hurricane Harvey victims at NRG Stadium. As Trump was putting on a pair of gloves, he turned toward a news camera and exclaimed to no one in particular, "My hands are too big.""
Not sure what you're getting at. I don't find it disturbing there are people like Wilders, Trump or Betsy deVos. I find it disturbing deVos gets support and praise from (relative, because come on really?) intelligent people like you. If anything will have negative consequences for your country it is people like her impacting the education system. It's quite baffling. Wilders is kept in check here. It's better to have him represent a bunch of unsatisfied citizens than not have him at all. I never felt like i had to be wary he would become a dutch Trump or something. But if people like you are glad a person like deVos is your secretary of education then yeah... I don't know what to doubt: your sincerity or intelligence. I know I fear for the overall education level in your country though and am very glad we at least don't have this issue here
Everyone on here needs to know that the Trump administration will be removing protection for some national treasure areas in the western states so that corporations could rape the land and steal forest products at will. One of these areas is the forest region along the Oregon and California border. That mountainous land is beautiful and covered by old growth Redwood groves. Other areas are the Bear's Ears region and the Grand Staircase region in Utah. The Trump/Pence administration seems to be only interested in profit and welfare of their corporate friends.
Interior chief urges shrinking 4 national monuments in West Matthew Daly, Associated Press, 9 hours ago https://www.yahoo.com/news/interior-secretary-recommends-shrinking-6-070848671.html
That's what I was talking about. I don't know why the want all these big corporation to ruin what is left of our natural beauty. Is any public land sacred in the eyes of these Republicans or is all the see is money?
Donald Trump Jr. and Kellyanne Conway Lose Secret Service Protection Newsweek G.lanktree,Newsweek 4 hours ago https://www.yahoo.com/news/donald-trump-jr-kellyanne-conway-133905440.html "By law, the Secret Service must protect the president’s extended family. But the size of Trump’s family and their responsibilities as top executives have stretched that budget. President Trump has around-the-clock protection for 42 people—including 18 family members—compared with 31 under Barack Obama. At the end of August, Secret Service director Randolph Alles told USA Today that more than 1,000 of his agents have hit federally mandated caps on their salary and overtime. The funds were supposed to last the entire year. It’s not only Trump’s children but the president himself who has taken a big bite out of the Secret Service’s resources. During his first seven months in office, Trump took multiple trips to his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida and golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, as well as a trip to Trump Tower in New York City. Trump’s seven trips to Florida cost about $3 million each, making his combined travel costs nearly on par with what Obama spent during eight years in office."
I don't like his "hey guys lets go to war with North Korea and Iran" tone, but the speechwriter for his UN speech did a pretty good job. Crazy Donald who says "believe me" and calls terrorists losers only slipped through a couple of times, otherwise he managed to stick to the script longer than I thought his attention span capable.
Trump To African Leaders: My Friends Go To Your Countries To Get Rich Jesselyn Cook September 20, 2017 "“I have so many friends going to your countries trying to get rich. I congratulate you,” he said. “They’re spending a lot of money.” He went on to praise health care advancements in the non-existent country of Nambia. It is unclear if he was referring to Gambia in West Africa, Namibia in southwest Africa, or perhaps Zambia in southern Africa."
Assuming he doesn't get run out of office, Trump will have opportunities to return to Africa and rave about how his billionaire cronies got rich off a covfefe ranch operation in the country of Tarzanimbia.
I just cannot understand how this Trump criminal gang got into government. In the 1920s there was a guy by the name of Stephenson who built up the KKK in Indiana, by selling white men the idea of a "Conservative, White, Christian, business owner" class who could take over the Indiana general assembly. Last week I read that the Alt Right is a government in waiting. It is starting to look like Pence, Bannon, Sessions, and Trump might have adopted the Stephenson method of hostile takeovers. Their leader's ability to carry out public speaking must not have been a part of their plans.
What Do Donald Trump Voters Actually Want? 30 of the billionaire real-estate developer’s backers offer individual explanations for their support. Jim Young / Reuters Conor Friedersdorf Aug 17, 2015 https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2015/08/donald-trump-voters/401408/ From the article: "I wanted to explain why I'd vote for Trump. There are 2 main reasons: His desire to be a successful president to feed his ego could paradoxically motivate him to be an extremely willing, conscientious delegater, surrounding himself with effective political operatives so he could stick to his strength of being a showman. Partly I just want to watch the chaos unfold if a purely ego-driven man were to experience success with a presidential run. I'm a young guy who is immature, a bit antisocial, and with no plans for kids or a wife ever. At some level, I don't really care how things go with America as long as it's fun to watch, like watching a basketball game when your favorite team isn’t playing. I hope this sheds light."
Another version of the travel ban to be released. This gives the impression that the Trump administration is concerned about losing in the U.S. Supreme Court in October. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/trump-administration-plans-replace-controversial-travel-ban-rules/story?id=50028227
