What's Happening?

You all are good to me.

 

I just started dinner cooking. Now, I'll only have to do side dishes when we come home from staying with the girls after school; or, I might do them early too and only have to heat up a plate when we come in. I'll freeze half of the meat I'm cooking and it will be good for a whole other day.

I do like it when I'm up earlier.

 

Don't know how many of you remember my friend Peter and the fire in his apartment where he lost everything. Well I went to see him in his new place and he's very happy. He's got a washing machine for the first time and even a garden. He's a massive film buff and he's already replaced a hundred more of his old VHS collection on DVD. And he's started drawing again. He's also quit smoking. We're going to see the Modigliani exhibition in November at the Tate Modern. I'm very pleased for him. He's a good egg.

 

Way to go, Peter!

 

I know it's only Tuesday but someone must have put up a yard sale sign.

Three cars have come down and turned around in the last 5 minutes.

 

Now if we could just get him to visit the White House...

Like I said, dinner is mostly completed from this morning.

I've been looking at making myself some aprons. I think I'll start by turning a big button down shirt into an apron.

 

It's time for a nice, crisp Autumn walk with my Emma.

 

Stood up to fast today and my right knee popped and it hurts like hell now. Just a couple weeks from my 49th birthday, things are starting to go now. Don't even get me started on my prostate. :cuss:

My son is taking my granddaughter to get her Learner's Permit tomorrow!
