The last time he got a check on the 3rd was last November.

That's called being a compulsive alcoholic. That's what my nephew was labeled.

You don't have to drink all the time but when you do drink, you drink until it's all gone or you pass out.

 

Yeah... SSDI isn't specified on that schedule.

 

I don't drink until it's all gone, only up to half a 750 bottle at a time....sheesh,

alcohol has always been something that I have never had a problem just walking away from.
what bothers me is in the last 6 months I've probably drank more than I had in the previous 55 years. That is the head scratcher for me...so just not gonna buy anymore for a while and maybe try to get some smoke or maybe even take a journey with ole mescalito, He has always been straightforward and no bullshit with me.

 

He's telling me he isn't on SSDI.

He says he's on "Disability" that's "Regular Social Security".


Somebody shoot me.

But Ty, he is on SSDI.

He just is having his dementia bullshit really bad today.

 

He's not but I am... He's on SSI (Supplemental Security Income) which is totally different than SSDI. (Social Security Disability Insurance) I was just saying that for some reason SSDI isn't listed on that chart.

No he is on Disability. He was declared disabled in 2011.

first (traditional bank) working day after the first for one of them,
the day of your birthday in each month for the/an other.
i forget which is which.

oh today was statehood day for nevada, which living in reno, meant any state provided services would not be available until monday.
kind of not a big deal, as it affected ONLY state provided services. the city buses apparently still ran their normal weekday schedule,
and not a reduced sunday and holiday one. the old folks soup line which is run jointly by the state and catholic services, was closed.

not a big deal, but with rent having gone up and pensions not, it does help to get one good meal free.
even just moonday thru friday.

i don't have to eat cat food yet, but my grocery shopping has to be a lot less extravagant now, then i had been used to for a number of years.

 

Mine has always been the third and my birthday is the 11th... Go figure.

I thought he didn't have the work history for SSDI and was on SSI... Often both get called "disability" without making the distinction.

as far as "driving me to drink" that is nothing more than a self serving cop-out. I take responsibility for my actions, I'm not easily manipulated nor do I play petty mind/emotion games with people.
she has burned her bridges and relationships with her children all on her own, they want little to do with her anymore as well.
I'm not joking when I say she needs professional help.
I'm just done wasting time and energy on her.

Take a drive to the closest office you know in the city about such? and ask for the manager when the front desk asks who you are looking for....cause the question is heavy,

Online and phone calls is a key to distractions.

It took me hours waiting on the phone to get a number close to me about health insurance. In the end, I talked and know the office location, but I went through my work cause of coverage.

Still phones and insurance is a joke. Car insurance? No problem we will cover your piece of metal let me direct you to this nice person.

Health invested in my life reasons? No we gonna make this hard as shit.
