I could care less about this as I don't even know what this girl's name is but I found out at the gym today that her father is from the little town that contains my gym. Here's the town square. He went to high school here then left for Chicago to escape the small town mentality. I don't know what his name is either.
that's actually pretty typical. a majority of small towns around here look similar to that. sometimes bigger cities even have that. last time i was in columbus, i stayed a few miles from what used to be a small town that was basically absorbed when columbus grew over it, but instead of taking on the standard big city look, the small town square stayed just like what you see above, except the small town hardware stores and whatnot were replaced by art galleries and restaurants.
