I wouldn't mind a sun dial. :) that way I can just be the correct time always. Except at night.. in which case I'll just make it up until it works hehe. What mate you shut at 2am? You wanna come to my backyard and check that?? Cause it's been 7pm for hours dude. :D

yeah - I actually do have a sundial. However I'm fairly certain it should be sitting in full sun (of course with the "arrow" pointing due north). Mine is in I guess you'd call it dappled sun. lol

I like round things and the way the sun dial looks so I figured before I even set it up I'd never get the right time with it basically sitting in woods. :p

It's a very clever tool, but I don't see the point of one as an every day person in ancient history. :p not plowing no field at 8am sharp!

I like this song a lot. :) I bet it paints a good picture of a lot south state Americans. It is a sweet song though, with a good message I think.

I'm glad someone else liked Chris Knight because most people won't give him a chance if I post it and really, he's one of, if not, IMO the best songwriter out there. He can write about someones life like no other and stir emotions in me that others wish they could do when they write. And although the majority of his songs are written about men losing relationships, they're just told so well where you can really feel the emotion he puts into it.

Like with enough rope, he said he wrote that about a man he met one day and I can feel his life in that song. It's a sad story and a sad song if you ask me, someone who never really got the chance to live life, had a child early, did the right thing and got married, works the dead end job, relationship not that great, you can feel the dude, he's unhappy, but what he's got isn't enough to move on or kill himself over. He can't hang himself, he ain't enough rope.

My Turkish neighbours have a little boy, about 2 and a half.. he has cried for days, not just cry, but scream!
The walls between our houses are like really thin, so although I don't understand them, I can hear their response to him.. he cried all night! So this morning, I hunted through my freezer for an ice cream, take it round, I say it's obvious he is in pain! She is like, no no he just won't tell me what's wrong.. I say he is in pain, he is teething, no no! I ask him he won't tell me.. I say give him this to cool his gums.. she is no no.. I say try it!!! She is full of no no we don't give him sugar.. im like, there is no sugar in it just give him it..
Now, the first peace in days.. me thinks for the little guy too.. I can hear him coughing on his crying snot, but no crying!
Wonder if she will buy him some more?
Some people have no idea about kids!
