Come on you knew it would go to a game 7 after the Celtics blew the game last Sunday.

They had a 1 Point lead and the ball with 39 seconds on the clock, but instead of setting up for a half-court play while killing time off the clock
they decided to fast break and turned the ball over. Milwaukee scored a 3 pointer – Game over

I've just been playing with the cats, walking the dog, cooking some food, and waiting on the monthly check to arrive.

I'm watching a movie.

 

i think this was a thing back when i was in elementary school. they were pretty cool if i remember correctly. one day was full of chores and one day was full of church, but there was still time to actually go outside for several hours each day.

then there was college, when the weekend was thursday through sunday. at least for the slackers; for the true partiers it was basically a four year weekend. yeah, there was class and work mixed in there somehow, but for some reason i don't really remember them...

 

Procrastinating......Got Work Done Yesterday.......Now Today (saturday) I Am At Loss To Apply

Myself To Anything......May Follow Machinists Example And Partake Of A Wine (or three) With Lunch......

You can keep it to three? I'm kidding. I never had the willpower to stop myself drinking at appropriate times. I've given up on all booze for several years now, and I don't really miss it I suppose. There's something toxic about the drinking personalities I've encountered. Maybe that's alcoholism.

 

i can usually keep it to 3 or 4 with no problem. any more than that and you can just assume the next day will be shot.

 

I'm weird then. Even knowing how the next day will play out, it's like I forget or something and end up continuing to drink. I've had the shakes because of drinking for days on end, and it was miserable. I was a mess. I'm glad I stopped.

 

well, if i go beyond my 3 or 4 limit, i'm the same way. which, if i drink socially sometimes is inevitable, which means i do have some shitty next days even when i have obligations the next day.

 

Shopping for backpacks on line is mind-boggling.

There are so many choices!

I want one to take on my beach trip so that I can carry a folding cane and all my other junk without putting all the weight on one shoulder with a big purse.

It also has to be girly looking, well made, comfortable, and not expensive.

I found one I like but the pattern only comes in the 15 1/2 inch size and not in the 13 inch size.

I didn't want one so big that I end up carrying everybody's stuff.

 

I'm thinking, maybe a wooden shipping crate box (like Taz was shipped in...) open on one side but covered with an old wool blanket, and a heat lamp inside. And some food and water (when its asleep lol). It might become a regular visitor, and you won't have burglars

 

Mountain lions favorite food in the burbs is house cats.

And llamas.

Out in the bush its deer and sheep.

California does not have a mountain lion hunting season because they are leftist morons.

So the mtn lion made the sierra bighorn damn near extinct in the state. They would have been but the state hired professional hunters to go after the lions.

Leftists logic. Pay hunters instead of have hunters pay you.

The state fish and game decided to save their sierra bighorn population from extinction much to the chagrin of the lefties...
