Anyone watching The Rain? (Netflix)

I tried getting into GoT but found it to be rather boring. The only redeeming quality I found in the series was that the dragon chick is exceptionally hot

 

She annoys me

 

Jeez...no love for Jon Snow? He who knows nothing? Hes fuckin awesome.

 

I love that he's marrying Ygritte in real life...squee!

 

Podrick is also a really likeable character

 

Oh, I like him a lot. Very understated character, but he's great.


So, I finally started The Rain...and I like it. But, I think that it's one of those shows that will grip you for a while, and then it'll become far fetched or boring, one of the two. It's hard to make a series that is sci fi-ish, and holds the suspense and script all the way through, but maybe I'll be surprised. GoT manages to do this, with the fantasy genre, but it's hard to do.

 

No one has mentioned the Onion Knight. A man of infinite credibility and practicality.

I don't know about this show. It's good, but maybe I'm over ''the world is coming to an end'' types of series.

 

I am never over the "world is coming to an end type series
But I agree with those above that say it will be hard to keep the same intensity going for an extended period.
