If you had to pair up with another species in an alien zoo...

This may be a very strange thing to think about, but I find it interesting.

Let’s say out of the blue you were kidnapped by aliens and put in a zoo. In this zoo, there is a representative of every intelligent species in the universe. There’s all sorts of aliens here: quadrupeds, animal/human hybrids, aliens with giant bug eyes, etc... In this zoo, you are required to pair up with another species to live in a house in the zoo. How do you decide which species to pair up with?

My guess is is that most people will pick whichever species they most want to have sex with. I can’t really think of any other way to decide. Thoughts?

I would pick whoever was the most nurturing. Whichever alien would hold me and baby me all the time. Also they'd be attractive somewhat. We needn't have sex. Just cradle me in your arms, alien, and feed me grapes.
