Some of you should consider life call, here is the toll free #,in case you need to Summon an ambulance
Changing palate... When I was a kid, a good dinner was McDonald's and a slushie for desert. Now it's grilled swordfish, asparagus and a red ale.
When my little brother called me to say that he and his wife were expecting their first kid. It then hit me like a ton of bricks that I hadn't done a damn thing with my life but drink and party. Not a good feeling.
Not to drop a massive black hole here but I've felt old ever since the death of my second son Colton. After Tuvyah's death (first son) kept myself mostly ok but after the second I felt my mind beginning to splinter under the weight. Physically I'm still mostly fit but mentally well suffice it to say that's where I feel old
I'm not old yet but in about 30 years I'll start watching myself for behavior resembling some of the old fuddy duddies around here; at which point my children have instructions to take me out back and shoot me.
Huh, well, what do ya know....this thread is in Random Thoughts but this is also in my new posts feed. Guess someone had a change of heart
People always joke that when the police are the same age as your children you are getting old and past it. The first time that I saw our daughter driving down the road in her new police car really brought it home.
Yes 5-20-2015 2:18pm MRI results: L1-2 degenerative disc space loss. L3 broad based disc bulge. L4-5 degenerative disc space loss. This all means my back has aged me to feel getting old.
When I wake up in the morning and take those first few steps out of bed to head towards the bathroom and my feet and ankles hurt like hell.
Started feeling old physically in my early 20s when I was diagnosed with RA, but mentally I still feel young, even with two kids.
aren't you like 37 or 38? that's clearly senior citizen status. all i was saying is that i don't see needing more sleep as a sign of aging. i always thought kids were supposed to need the most sleep, and then it just slowly decreases over time.
I don't know. I used to be able to get by on 4-5 hours sleep a night. Now, anything less than 7 and I'm useless
I'm pretty good on 6 hours of sleep these days. I needed a solid 8 or 9 for optimal performance when I was younger
