My worst experience with bare feet at the movies was when I was leaving. It was a small arty-type theatre (sadly destroyed in the earthquake). I was on my crutches with my left leg in a cast, my good foot bare of course! I went in via the stairs but decided that was not a good idea trying to go down them with the crowd trying to leave at the same time so took the lift, which exited into a side alley. I hopped out of the lift into the alley to discover there was broken glass anywhere! Of course I should have just gone back up and then taken the stairs but that seemed like hard work. It is amazing how careful you can be when you don't want to risk injuring your only working foot! I got out unscathed! I have had more issues with the bare toes sticking out of my casts being stepped on than just being barefoot. When at the movies (or anywhere else for that matter) a cast means I can't move my ankle to get my foot out of the way.
Ive been barefoot to many (both indoor and outdoor) concerts and i never had any problems but thats just me
when i go to the movies alone i'm barefoot. when i go with friends i bring flip flops to avoid the bull shit. the barefeet allowed, no barefeet allowed policies are not enforced in a uniform manner at the same theater. i have been told i'm not allowed in barefoot on one occasion and i went to the same theater a week later without a problem.
Me and some friends went to a cinema and literally we all Took our shoes and socks off inside. And once I was in there alone (with no friends) this boy Sitting next to me, he was about 9/10 seen me and asked his mother if he could do the same and she said yes. So he took his shoes off and to my suprise after the movie he spoke to me about how much he loved seeing others barefoot.
I remember how my feet would stick to the floor when I was a kid. We would soon walk the sticky off though once we left the theatre.
Doesn't Matter......We Had Barefooters In 2012.....Just As We Have Them In 2018...... I Have Been A Fulltime Barefooter Since August 2006......In 2 Months Time That Will Be 12 Years.... Does That Make Me A "Necro-Barefooter"....?.... LOL... Cheers Glen.
I was a little nervous when i went to a AMC theater. Me and a friend of mine went to go see the black panther. And the employees did see my bare feet but didn't say a word about not wearing shoes. But i did have some employees say they wish they could be barefoot. And even the manager is ok with people going barefoot. I always go to the AMC theater the chairs reclin and the floor has carpet so you don't fill the sticky floor on your bare feet. Keep barefooting
May be but we still do it! ! Went t o see The Happy Prince today. Bus and tube to the Gate in Notting Hill and a drink afterwards. Didn't take any shoes with me. No problems.
I love barefooting i wish i would have done it more when i was a kid. I did go barefoot in the summer but not in the winter. And i get a lot of people asking me if my bare feet are frozen or if I'm on drugs. Or my favorite i must be crazy to be barefoot at the movies in the winter. But i know i will not have any problems unless a person doesn't like to see bare feet on the recliner.
I wish I done it a lot more when I was a kid, but it seemed so naughty and I rarely had the nerve. I've certainly made up for it since.
I was at movies last week with my Friends and one of their sisters , And Me, my friend (Adam) took our shoes and socks off and his sister (sarah) took her shoes off (she didnt have socks on,) and the other friend Sam took his shoes off and was wearing socks and Sarah asked him to take his socks off but he wouldn't In the end she said I'll buy you ice cream if you take your socks off, To which he got tempted, Until she decided to rip one of them off his feet and she said Take it off, and He did so. They are good friend and he did see the funny side of it
