If you think it's possible there was collusion, admit that Russia interfered (not just the emails, not just hacking), know that the FBI and CIA both agree that it happened... why are you pretending the only issue is that a couple of emails suggest that Hillary did something to Bernie? Seriously, what does that have to do with all the tweets, fake news, Facebook lies, secret meetings, Russian infiltration of the NRA, Trump's inexplicable Putin love, etc. etc? If you're not even going to try to be honest about what's actually going on, why embarrass yourself by trying to participate in any of these discussions?
My guess is it's because he isn't a big deal and it's not worth giving him the attention he craves. Seriously, who fucking cares about whoever that is and whatever he wants? He can play with his youtube trolls.
Straka is a New York hairstylist and aspiring actor. That should qualify him as an expert on politics and government. His claim to fame is founding the # walkaway movement, backed of course by such Republican players as Sarah Palin. They got the money. What they need now is promotion, as by people on other websites making out like he's a big deal instead of "Brandon who?). He preaches a line similar to Shaman's, only more light weight, if that can be imagined. And he claims to be a martyr, supposedly denied services at Adorama (the horror!) because of his conversion to the right. Supposedly, he is leading fellow LGBTs away from the Demos. Any of them (not to mention African-Americans and other minorities) who think they'd be better off with the Republicans and the right must be suffering from the Stockholm syndrome. Given Shaman's disdain for Hollywood celebrity types, why should we care about this airhead? Possibly Shaman thinks if this guy can make it, there's hope for a promising career ahead for even himself. All this should remind us an election is coming up, and operatives are busy. No "the media" didn't do that. Some members of the media think that Straka has been co-opted on social media by Russian trolls. Because, after all, Russian trolls have been known to do that. Mueller charges 13 Russian nationals and 3 Russian entities with interfering in the 2016 US election To Stir Discord in 2016, Russians Turned Most Often to Facebook How Russia ‘Pushed Our Buttons’ With Fake Online Ads The notion that they're doing it again with Straka is based on evidence that the campaign is fueled by Trump supporters with a huge assistance from bots, trolls and Russian accounts. As the Washington Monthly put it, Straka's message is “I was a Democrat/progressive for my entire life but I decided to abandon my values and switch parties when the least popular, least qualified and most unprincipled Republican president in modern American history took office.” Suspicious? https://www.dailydot.com/layer8/russian-trolls-walkaway-movement/ Progressive Outlets Claim #WalkAway Movement Being Driven by... Russia! Russian bots are using #WalkAway to try to wound Dems in midterms https://washingtonmonthly.com/2018/...ls-on-social-media-for-the-midterm-elections/ If true, he'd probably be the last to know it. As usual, the Ruskies have their fellow travelers and "useful idiots" to help them.
There will likely be a blue wave where progressive candidates are running And I agree the Democratic party should learn to take constructive criticism and I dont doubt there are people legitimately leaving the party, just as there are people leaving the Republican party. The number of independents are growing But none of that changes the fact that some of the walkaway stories are obviously fake and just sound dumb like no thought was even put into it
Have we ever known Republicans to take constructive criticism? Sure don't see much of that coming from the Donald or his yes men in the Republican congressional delegation.
Here’s why Michael Cohen could be Trump’s “biggest vulnerability” by Greg Walters Jul 20, 2018 Here’s why Michael Cohen could be Trump’s “biggest vulnerability” excerpt: "The payouts to women for their silence could constitute improper campaign contributions, and may mean trouble for Trump depending on the circumstances and how deeply he can be shown to have been involved, according to Mimi Rocah, a former prosecutor for the Southern District of New York. “If Trump did know about it and directed Cohen, that could link Trump to campaign finance violations,” Rocah said, referring specifically to Cohen’s payment to Stormy Daniels. “But they’d have to show it was for the benefit of the campaign, and not just personal. It can’t just be, like, ‘I don’t want my wife know.’” For an example, look no further than former Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards, who was indicted in 2011 on charges of using illegal campaign donations to conceal his mistress from voters. Just days before the election, Cohen created a shell company called Essential Consultants LLC to pay Daniels. After Trump entered the White House, Cohen used the same company to receive millions in payments from international corporations who wanted insight into the Trump administration, including AT&T and Swiss drugmaker Novartis. Cohen also scored a $1 million consulting contract from a U.S. hedge fund closely linked to a Russian billionaire with longstanding Kremlin ties named Viktor Vekselberg, in a deal that’s already drawn the scrutiny of federal investigators. Investigators will likely want to know whether Trump knew about these payments, and whether any of them involved any kind of explicit promises for favorable treatment in exchange for the payments, said Harry Sandick, a former prosecutor for the Southern District of New York."
Lets look at the facts: Anything written in text and submitted online can be coming from literally anywhere. For all we know, you could be a Russian bot writing in from a fake Oklahoman IP and no mod here would know. When real people submit video testimonials, how are they robots? You're turning into the Little Boy who cried Russia. Secondly, I looked into Brandon Straka's social media timeline a few years back and found this selfie from 2 years ago: So yeah, he seems like a legitimate ex-progressive. Not a life-long con who's faking it as you guys are insinuating.
There's likely some truth to this as some of the walkaway testimonials could be written and filmed by people who've never voted democrat in their lives. Who are doing it only to add more walkaway videos to the collection. I don't think all of these participants who are leaving the democrat party are joining the republican party either. But that doesn't mean ALL of them are fake as you seem to be insinuating.
No, their worried his message would redpill some of their loyal viewers. Causing them to question what they've been fed. I mean, CNN has already published a propaganda hit piece article about him already, so why not make a fool out of him and discredit him for the Russian insider that he really is? Russian bots are using #WalkAway to try to wound Democrats in the midterms (Opinion) - CNN
Couple of new developments: KKK and Alt Right calling on Russians to JOIN THEM against our government and security forces. On one of the morning news shows: Trump supporters asked TO THEIR FACES--if they believe the Russians interfered with our election= Replied that they didn't belive Russia interfered and that they believe Putin MORE THAN OUR AGENCIES!! Motherfuckers ought to MOVE THERE THEN!!!!!!!!
Lol all is forgiven. When i read over that I realized thats probably where you were coming from because my eyes skipped over the "dont" at first too
[ Because that would give him more attention than he deserves. As desperately as you and your fellow spin doctors try, it's really hard to elevate this airhead into somebody important. Who cares what he thinks or thought about anything? He obviously suffers from bad judgement because of his foolish decision to jump from frying pan into fire, and that photo doesn't change my assessment for the better. Obviously thinks he's hot when he's not.
Now if you want to talk about a conservative power house who recently jumped in the other direction--not going liberal but urging people to vote Demo in the next election--there's George Will. What a stud! Conservative George Will says vote against Republicans in midterms Why haven't FOX and Breitbart interviewed him? What are they trying to hide? It's a conspiracy, I tell you!
Wrong. Hamilton 68 by itself monitors over 600 accounts of known Russian users, disinformation linked to Russian media (including RT and Sputnik), and known Russian bots in real time. These include Russian government accounts, pro Russian users, and trailers linked to the first two. Accounts are analyzed by hash tags, topics, links, and URLs. Monitoring has occured for three years. And that's just one source.
