Trump gets caught saying that he won't make any compromises with Canada on trade.

Trump's response: "At least Canada knows where I stand!"

Ex-ambassador: How Trump has treated Canada is 'the definition of insanity'
President Donald Trump risks seriously damaging the relationship between Canada and the U.S. as he pushes toward a new North American Free Trade Agreement.
With an economy 10 times the size of Canada's, the U.S. clearly has all the leverage in these trade negotiations, former U.S. Ambassador to Canada Burce Heyman said, but that doesn't mean the U.S. should use it.

Oh I wouldn’t get too gooey eyed about the Constitution and its framers it was written to favour the squire class (established wealth and position).

The Supreme Court and Electoral College were just two of the ways they hoped to counter what they saw as ‘mob rule’. The Supreme Court was meant to be at best a bulwark against and at worst a hindrance to the passage of progressive ideas (and has been).

It’s not irony that those wishing to pack the SC are calling those opposing them the ‘mob’ it’s actually in the spirit of the founders.

'I'm in Big Trouble.' What It's Like Inside American Firms Hampered by Trump's Trade War

    excerpt:

"The smaller the enterprise, of course, the more difficult the challenge. They don’t have the economies of scale, the back-office staff, the lobbying forces or the deep pockets to roll with the punches as a Home Depot-size company can do.

Jammy, an auto-parts importer Bradley’s dad started almost half a century ago in Forth Worth, Texas, has 11 employees and recorded $12 million in revenue last year. It embraced globalization in the ’80s, forging a joint venture with a factory in Shaoxing, in eastern China, that makes the injection-molded plastic and bent tubular steel Jammy needs to fashion tail lights and other parts for everything from giant lawnmowers to combines made in the U.S.

“It’s impossible for a company like mine to just change their manufacturing location,” said Bradley, 39, who estimated Jammy has put $5 million into the Shaoxing plant. “I have too much invested over there.”

The tariffs that went into effect on Aug. 23 included reflective tape — the kind that goes on the sides of tractor trailers — so Bradley paid $7,500 to air-freight 1,700 rolls a few days before. That was about ten times the cost of shipping by boat, but he had orders to fill.

And he spent so much of the summer scrambling, talking to customers and his sales team about how to steer Jammy through the trade war, that he let other projects slide. He’d been planning to hire two people in logistics and marketing but hasn’t found time to even write the job descriptions; installing a new computer system was put on hold."

The tariff issue is Trump's Achilles heel. If the analysis of Cato Institute researcher, Dr. Emily Ekins, is correct, the precious Trump base that he devotes himself to catering to, consists of five components, one of which (the Staunch Conservatives), part of the hard core, is still favorable to free trade, and another (the Free Marketers), part of the soft core, are, as the name implies, favorable to free trade, and not so much concerned about immigration. Respectively, they made up 31% and 25% of the base by the end of 2016, compared with the 21% blue collar American Protectionists who are for the tariffs. If the Donald messes this up, those folks who wouldn't be phased if he shot someone of Fifth Avenue, might turn against him.

Saw the Kavanaugh hearings today on MSNBC. Saw Sen. Dianne Feinstein questioning the Nominee; as we have seen Senator Feinstein question several SCOUS nominees over the years.
Senator Feinstein will be running for her Sixth term as a Senator this Fall. She is a former mayor of San Francisco.

Why are Democrats running Kevin de Leon against her?

Wow Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel will not run for re-election this Fall.
He is the architect of the Democratic takeover of The House of Representatives in 2006.
He served in President Obama's White House until he lost favor.

The republican response. But then, they've been tossing in the towel since McCain faced Obama. Look how easily Trump rolled over their best and brightest (and more diverse than the democrats).

They're supposed to be, but not really. The odd one that has a "permit" is sometimes allowed to procede, but even then the cops often just declare it an "unlawful asselbly" and start fracturing peoples skulls with rubber bullets.
No doubt! It was written by slave owners.

More points docked for The Orange One:

"People living next to the border in Texas and when crossing the Mexican border are finding out in the worse possible way that the State believes that their birth certificate documents proving their American citizenship are in fact fabricated – and thus, they are no longer citizens.

    According to the Texas Tribune:

In the article, it is discussed that the Trump administration is expanding and growing some policies that were already being used under Obama, that target people of Latinx backgrounds under the pretext of them being born in an area supposedly known for birth certificate forgery. Many of those that find that they have lost their citizenship, do so as they re-enter the country, only to be thrown into Detention facilities. As the report states:

In short, this move amounts to nothing more than ethnic cleansing, and an attempt by Nativists and anti-immigrant nationalists in the Trump administration to roll back the clock to before 1965, when immigration laws were changed, allowed more non-whites into the country – a year often pointed to by white nationalists in what began a process of “white genocide.” This is also fundamental to the heart of the project by the so-called “nationalist populist” Right; a fundamental redefining of who is included and who is excluded from being a citizen, and clearly those in power want to do so along lines of race.

To make matters more draconian, some people’s credit card accounts are being frozen by bank companies who are also suspected of not being citizens. Thus, with a few key strokes, a person can lose not only everything, but also be declared someone without any sort of rights or freedoms, other than that to rot inside an internment camp, to then be deported into a country you haven’t even lived in.

Like many authoritarian regimes, these practices are being kept under raps and are being carried out quietly, however at the same time, they are also legal, and serve as a test for future attempts by the administration to try even more draconian measures. Such policies also show that Trump has learned his lessons in the face of things like the Muslim Ban; instead of announcing such big news ahead of time, Trump is now attempting to carry them out quietly and away from the eyes of the public." - IGD

The passage below has been circulating the web. In spite of all of those attributes, someone can always say that Trump is really a nice person once you get to know him.

    "Where can a Central-Park-Five-exploiting hate-baiting chief-birther violence-inciting bone-spurred-draft-dodging disabled-mocking prisoner-of-war-denigrating charitable-contributions-lying gold-star-family-disrespecting pvssy-grabbing tax-return-hiding Muslim-hating inaugural-crowd-deficient popular-vote-losing wire-tap-paranoid justice-obstructing classified-intelligence-divulging emoluments-violating nepotism-embracing vulgarity-spewing democracy-undermining torture-applauding Putin-colluding traitorous-offspring-spawning healthcare-sabotaging boyscout-abusing racist-pardoning art-of-the-deal-failing neo-Nazi-appeasing professional-sports-race-baiting secretary-of-state-verified-moron chief-of-staff-verified-idiot loyalty-oath-demanding fake-news-consuming-and-spreading dotardly adult-day-care-residing habitually-lying national-security-adviser-verified-idiot-dope-kindergartener USA-Today-editorial-staff-declared-unfit-to-clean-toilets LOL-very-stable-genius-LOL dangerously utterly untruthful alternative-fact-propagating sh!thole-spouting porn-star-hush-money-paying Forbes-magazine-spanked Constitutional-crisis-precipitating compulsively-sniffing Mexico-paying-for-wall-confabulating trade-war-preening NRA-cowering journalism-is-“the enemy of the American people”-squaking Mueller-investigation-subpoenaed military-paying-for-wall-deluded Israeli-apartheid-loving stock-market-volitility-inducing serial-adulterer TPP-withdrawing-then-TPP-begging golden-shower-hooker-hiring fake-billionaire security-clearance-revoking Senator-Flake-verified-democracy-debasing Putin-cowering justice-obstructing unhinged unindicted-co-conspirator so-called president get some respect around here?"

The final sentence is the most important one...
"But the real difference will be made by everyday citizens rising above politics, reaching across the aisle and resolving to shed the labels in favor of a single one: Americans."

So now there's an alleged Deep Throat (or more than one) in the Trump administration like there was for Nixon. That should be a good remedy for Trump's already existing paranoia. Trump's reaction to the news was said to be volcanic. Trump is now down to thinking that he can trust only his children, if he can even trust them.

OK someone in the White House admits the President is nuts but it’s all ok because they and others there are keeping him from doing ‘really’ nutty thing?

Not exactly what you want to hear about the man in charge of the largest military in the world let alone the sole control over the US’s nuclear button.

Apparently this is a "top official" and member of Trump's own party. Someone who wants him to succeed, not someone from the "deep state" whatever that is.

So we have members of his own staff who apparently are afraid to resign because they feel they're protecting the country from an idiot.
But they haven't gone to congress to push Republicans to look into what's going on, they are disobeying presidential orders, and apparently conspiring against Trump.

This is where we are folks.
In the words of Mr. or Ms. Anon:
Time for the Republicans to grow some balls.

    So put it simply

‘Well yeah I and the others know he’s a nutter and is trying to undermine the US political system and yes well he could start World War Three but like...you know our wealthy donors like hey really, really wanted those tax cuts’
