What pieces, leaking where? Another possibility is that they are simply fake news made up and circulated a la Pizzagate.

 

New York Post and Fox News are reporting it. I’m on my phone but if you google it, you’ll see the articles.

 

What I just posted. Why are we hearing about an ex bf refuting Dr Ford or a pic from Kavanaugh’s college days or drunken bar fights? These stories should stay private until the FBI is done.

 

Both are Murdoch outlets. The Post is noted for its sensationalism, and Fox says it's "entertainment", not news. I'd take the story with a grain of salt. If the ex is saying that, he should be subpoened, put under oath and cross-examined. Blasey Ford said under oath under cross-examination she had no experience with lie detectors. I think these stories may be the news media doing their own investigations.

 

The same could be said about Kavanaugh. But I believe Dr Ford. Just saying that many people feel Kavanaugh is credible and testified under oath.

 

Yeah, it's probably better to wait for the reputable news agencies to pick up the story before you actually believe it.

 

YEP!!!! The FBI doesn't discuss, broadcast or leak information in an ongoing investigation. Well at the least one I ever knew about. In today's world, nothing surprises me anymore.

Because the FBI isn't investigating Ford's XBF as far as we know.

I expect the Dems to protest this being included in any part of the investigation as soon as they can figure out how to word the made for prime time statement about it.

They should find another candidate at this point. Why Kavanaugh would want to keep subjecting his family to this is beyond me. I just think there’s too much controversy around him.

Note how the statement was 'obtained', and how they obtained it or where it actually came from is a mystery.

 

So he can do what? He will never have a life anything close to what he had before because of this. If he isn't a SCOTUS judge I don't think he can ever go back now. He will be forever pursued in a public place by domestic terrorist regardless of whether he was found guilt or not. I don't think we can offer SS protection to him.

You are one troubled soul. I know this has become a long thread. But if you're gonna make an accusation, you might want to do a little research on who you are accusing. In this thread, I found every reason I could to make Dr Fords efforts mean something to the victims of sexual assaults. I wanted her to be telling the truth. But I also saw the holes that were present and the political field she played in. I said she presented better than Kavenaugh did. I both trusted and doubted them both. Its all there if you want to look. Or you can trust I said it and it got condensed here to something less than an hour for you to read and look up words and stuff.

If K doesn't get selected, Trump will simply send another up. The process of denying that appointee will begin again buy the Dems.

 

Clarence Thomas seems to still be chugging along and respected by his peers. So there's that.
