No, I realize the dems are as responsible as the repubs as far as ignoring those in the vast ghettoes of this country, white and black. They all serve their corporate masters , but dems do attempt occasionally to share some of the wealth with the middle class. The repubs don't even try to fake any concern for the aforementioned. Kavanaugh will tilt the high court inexorably to the right for 20-30 years.
That's not the way it works. How it works now is. Tell us who you vote for. If it's not us, you are our enemy. If you don't pledge your aliigience to them, you are the enemy.
No, none of you are my enemy. You are my fellow americans and I would defend your right to vote for/ admire anyone you like. I just disagree with you-all that what is happening on a daily basis that is so far out of what this country has seen, is actually not good for ANY of us. Frankly, I'm surprised and disappointed that so many of my fellow americans see nothing wrong in the actions of the president and Kavanaugh too.
That may be so. Its debatable But we have to realize there was an election and picking nominees for the supreme court is one of the "spoils" the victor enjoys. What is completely abhorrent is hurling unproven accusations backed no credible evidence against someone. Unfortunately its part of the declared strategy of the democrats who vowed to obstruct delay and block the nomination. Its a very slippery slope when someone's life can be ruined that way. In fact it scares the shit out of me.
Have Republican Voters No Decency at All? 55% of GOP voters think Kavanaugh should still get to be a judge even if he is guilty of sexual assault. Seriously, WTF is wrong with these people? Is that what watching nothing but FOX news does to you?
Aaaamericaaaa, Aaaamericaaaa...God shed thy grace on thee... Just felt like singing that. Seemed to fit.
The problem is trump did not pick his nominee. Kavanaugh was picked by the Federalists Society with some help from the Heritage Foundation. Btw, you are saying that the republicans did not block the nomination of Merrick Garland?
If he was objectively a white supremacist, 88% of GOP voters would probably still support his nomination.
I came here to this board with an open mind. I tried to help explain why I thought Trump won. I never said I voted for him. But simply trying to explain why I thought he won was enough to start calling me names. Or implied names. You (a collective you) we're then and still are now so blinded by your anger that you don't see that this is EXACTLY why he won. And if you lose the mid terms, you will again blame it on the Republicans. Without ever taking the responsibility that the name calling, the embarrassing displays of domestic terrorism etc. may be the reason. You might want to check in with your favorite left wing propoganda machine CNN. Even they are recognizing they can't ignore the fact that the Dems are now losing ground ahead of the mid terms. For them to say that means it's probably 5 times worse than they are reporting.
Your underestimating the hatred the left has created in America. Its very SAD when 55% of the Republican voters feel better off having a sexual assaulter in office than anything the Democrats will offer. Again its the "pick the smaller piece of shit to eat" approach. I really don't think you all see how the hatred has built up towards you. They hate sexual assaulters. At least anyone I know does. But they absolutely want to make sure something worse (any Dem) is in office as they watched how the Dems have treated the country. Its a bigger problem than a sexual predator to them. No matter how much you hear it and from what source, you will refuse to accept that the left is the bigger problem they are trying to stop. Trump has tapped into that hate better than any of the other Republicans wanted too. They feel they can do a better job at protecting them and their children from a sexual predator than they can what they see happening to America by the left.
You say that like there is some Democrat judge people can choose. Kavenaugh was picked by the Trump administration, and will be voted on by a Republican-majority senate. This isn't about picking the smaller piece of shit or doing what it takes to keep a Democrat out.
