Multiple Shooting Deaths At Pittsburgh Area Synagogue

So far, this seems to be the work of two lone wolves (Sayok and Bowers). The military isn't the appropriate tool for dealing with those.

 

As @MeAgain pointed out, the shooter thought President Trump is a globalist and that his followers want a police state.

 

Like what?

 

Yeah, I agree. This should be categorized as a terrorist act.

 

Gun control
Religious tolerance
Metal detectors
Easier access to medication
Bullet tax
Body armor
A lot of things...

 

As far as gun control goes, what specific law would've prevented thus shooting?

Good. We need more military intervention in the Homeland. I don't feel safe. You would hope military intelligence is aware of nefarious terrorists forces within our own borders. I don't understand why there aren't drone strikes on them.

 

Why not a drone strike? These guys are never gonna get the picture if we don't show some real force.

 

I don't care if they are us. I just hate terror. I'll be the first to say that if I'm a terrorist then drone strike me. Even if I'm at a wedding or something, a baptism of a baby...

 

The people who were murdered sound like they were good, kind people. Such a loss.

Well, the two that we know about are in custody. A drone strike might take out law enforcement personnel, and blow a hole in the jail so they could escape--and besides, we usually put even terrorists that we've taken into custody on trial instead of killing them by drone.

 

Yeah, that's what happens.

 

I don't care what the political views are of the guys, this is a terrorist act.

 

But the fact that they, to the best of our knowledge, acted alone instead of on behalf of or inspired by some terrorist group presents evidentiary problems which led the prosecution not to go there.
