Stopped by a pizza/sub shop I visit on occasion. Not often enough to know anyone but I order a 12 piece chicken and knowing it will be a while I ask for a bud while I wait. The cashier had an accent but spoke well enough English but when she looked at me funny I said "budweiser" she still clearly didn't know what I wanted. She turned around looking at the display bottles. I said "the red one" she then cashed me out. And proceeded to search through the cooler, grabbed a bud and said "this one?"
Yes hun that is a red bottle.
So much for bud being the most popular beer in the world.(yeah I know lite took over but still...)

 

Yeah pork gets a bad name but raw meat is raw meat.
I picture pork getting pegged as the meat that gets worms if not cooked properly...cats are ok eating worms too though.

 

They can't get to my plant where it is. I already thought that one through lol.

 

My parents took my daughter for the weekend. Only having one kid in the house feels like a vacation.

small town parades are the best...in Toronto she would need to be on your shoulders....for 5 hours......I remember it well.....when I was a kid Toronto maple leaf's would rent rooms overlooking Yonge street in the Westbury hotel right around the corner from MLG and all the staff could bring family and be warm and watch out the windows

 

That's the NORAD float. They track Santa at Christmas. And I guess they watch for Russian missiles too.

 

Yeah, I'd never do the Toronto one.

 

Wow you must be old, they haven't had a parade for the maple leafs in many decades.

 

Sad day when Santa needs military support.

 

yup 1967....but they still rented rooms for the Santa Claus parade every year...….and I'm 59....I was 8 when the leafs won
