Merry Barefoot Christmas

I think the MythBusters once did an episode about this. The trick was to cover the burning embers with a protective layer of ash that insulates them from your feet. So basically, you're supposed to cheat.

Anyway, merry Yule to one and all. Hope you had a good one. I wore socks on Xmas Eve because I spent the day at my parents' place, and mom, being old fashioned, appreciates formal attire during these more festive events. Back home now, so socks are off again. If weather permits, I might do the New Years fireworks viewing barefooted again. Not looking very promising right now, though. Weather forecasts are predicting temperatures as low as -15 centigrade (5 Fah) for Monday night.

 

I love it to! If I have to wear shoes then I am sockless as much as possible
