Has anyone else seen this rather amazing Synchronization? I was really amused by it when I saw/heard it for the first time, although I was really sober. I wonder if it's twice the fun stoned/drunk.

for those who have seen it, what was your favourite moment of synchronization?

I particularly liked the Tin Man's Heartbeat and Dorothy returing home to Kansas to the lyrics of "Home, home again" after ending her trip to those of "The time is gone, The song is over".

But I think I'd miss the dialogue as I know every line by heart... =)

this reminds me of my freshman year of college. my roommates and i watched wizardofoz/pinkfloyd like seven times. nerds, haha! it was cool though. my favorite part is the transition from black and white to color, when "money" starts playing. very dope. also interesting (perhaps even more so) is watching the end of 2001 space odyssey with pink floyd's "the wall." i downloaded the two pre-synchronized on kazaa and it was an effing head trip.

I've got it on my comp and yes it is better under the influence! I like 'The Great Gig In The Sky' with the hurricane or 'Money' with the transition to clour.

Billy Brown, I've got 2001 Space Odyssey synchronised with the song 'Echoes'. I'm not sure which part of the film since I haven't seen it but there are lots of trippy colurs! Sort of like a tunnel. It goes really well with Echoes, which is a very good song by itself.

I think it works better if you smoke catnip and stand on your head throughout and let all the blood rush to your head. plus you should connect electrodes to your genitals..... thats when it really works.

seriously though. who hasnt done this? Ive done it years ago.... and all it is is a bunch of silly coincidences. you can find them with any movie/album pairing........ there are many out there. its no big deal.

I had heard it was Wizard of Oz and The Wall and that you do it when the MGM lion roars the second time. There were some pretty cool synchro moments like when there was some lyric about "up here" and Dorothy or somebody is pointing up to the sky and she's standing on that fence or what have you. Then, there's the Witch pointing her long green finger while it plays "Hey you!" and of course instead of that stupid O-E-O thing, it goes "Tear down the wall! Tear down the wall!" Anyone try that?

"Dark Side of the Rainbow" is showing in Wichita, KS on March 18th. I haven't seen it yet, but have heard it's really quite amazing. I plan to see it then. Everybody I know who is going agrees that 90% of the audience will be high on something. Seems like its some sort of tradition here....
